Narcotics Trade Discovered in Manitowoc County Jail, Where an Inmate Died Tuesday
MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ) — Sheboygan County investigators say an inmate was dealing narcotics within the walls of the Manitowoc County Jail, where a man was found dead on Tuesday.
Investigators are awaiting on toxicology tests following the autopsy of 36-year-old Justin Hall, who was found dead “in an awkward position” in his jail cell on Tuesday morning, to determine if drugs led to his death.
If they did, it’s possible the inmate involved would be charged in Hall’s death.
Sheboygan County Sheriff’s officials have been investigating the death in neighboring Manitowoc County, as is often the case when deaths occur in county prisons.
