Psychology and psychiatry are pseudo-sciences. I worked at a state mental hospital for 7 years and never seen them cure one person. Medicate and manage was the best they could do, our 80% recidivism rate testified to that. If they couldn't medicate and manage the symptoms then it ECT and turn em into drooling vegetables. Saw the pattern repeated over and over again, so sad.
