I teach our language, culture, and beliefs to youth here. Many ppl still resistant to learn as the Church and Assimilation did much to shame us into not learning. I don't believe we are or ever were "savages" just doing what we had to do to survive in a chaotic world….seems that much has not changed , and tribalism is still alive and well.
