Haters will keep hating though. I say there's something to Sperry's tweet…bc why did Comey go running to the WH unannounced one Friday in late March 2017? Methinks this could be the reason in retrospect…he found out somehow and went crying to somebody to call the dogs off.
Absolutely agree that something about Comey is somehow a Trump card. Some combination of him, Mueller, and Rosenstein though. Personally think if any part of this was a sting, it was with Rosenstein (wittingly/voluntarily) and Mueller (unwittingly/involuntarily). But I suppose the WH could have laid its hand bare to Comey in March 2017 and said, you stick around and do what we tell you until we fire you, or else we have a supersized treason case against you. I don't know what he'd say during his hearing to blow anyone out of the water though. If no indictments are unsealed by then, would DOJ have him compromise anything major (if he's cooperating)? My wishful thinking is he's arrested on live TV kek. Even if someone's cooperating, can they still slap cuffs on you for something? Dunno.
Announcement next week to throw off and then recess appointment in RED October maybe? Problem is, they never truly gavel out, do they?
