Were that true, it would be quite a problem for her coworkers on the court not having said anything. Sooo, there’s that.
A nation of law and truth-telling would make for a great place to live and prosper.
If that is really true (this anon has no idea), if it’s true that she’s been dead for some time, and NONE of her coworkers were able to say something, anything all this time… and it gets out… would be more earthshaking than 9/11 truth and ScamDemic combined.
9/11 truth and ScamDemic are bad enough speaking to the breakdown in a Constitutional Republic… but the SC outright PRETENDING to be… is quite a bit worse.
It is not a requirement. Yes, a working knowledge and practical understanding of the books, history, language and common practice would be very very helpful… but yes, this anon would prefer a common neophyte at this point simply making opinions on the court based in fairness and simple equity. What the SCOTUS does now is twist and mangle “Law” into an abomination of it spirit and intent.
If a simple honest person, with a mind for good humanity simply sat on the court and compared every case against a cleartext reading of the Constitution… America would instantly return towards great-er-ness. Not likely to happen in the political environment, both Rs and Ds would scream like banshees (cause it would roll back decades/centuries of crap they’ve floated past the court)… but the world would be a better place without “Lawyers” in the courts… any courts.
Show me someone today, in practice with a “Law Degree”, that can’t tell you they were told first year to fuck the Constitution, and still have a job in “Law”. As rare as hen’s teeth.
Much closer to this anon’s impression as well. For that alone her co-workers not assisting her to resign is disgusting. Like the people holding up Biden as if a viable candidate for POTUS.
