Trump has spent the last 2 years lambasting hiim, to the point of endorsing his opponent for the Alabama Senate, for a reason.
And this is it. He didn't "stay loyal to Trump," but instead stayed loyal to equal justice under law.
He recused himself from the whole Mueller investigation. He's honest, fair, and adheres to the rule of law, despite ny temptation to be allegiant to the mana who put him there.
I speculate Barbara Lagoa (Cuban Hispanic woman from Florida) will be nominated this week and will be ultimately rejected by the Senate, either before or after the election.
The Democrats will have rejected a Cuban Hispanic Woman from Florida, and Trump will throw his handds up in the air and say "I tired"… and then LEGALLY appoint Jeff Sessions during a recess, as he has already been confirmed by the Senante for FREAKIN ATTORNEY GENERAL…same damn criteria applicable to that (IF NOT HIGHER) of SCOTUS.
Sessions will be in place to oversee a contested election, and will not be seen as a lackey of the president. IF ANYTHING, the case could be made that he'd hold a grudge against Trump, if the case could be made AT ALL that he allowed such personal feelings to interfere with his objectivity in the first place!
There will be an old white guy in place, instead of an Hispanic woman, Trump's re-election will be secure, Republicans will increase their seats in the Senante and another person will be appointed to replace Sessions interim appointment, possibly Amy Coney Barrett.
Maybe Trey Gowdy instead, and Jeff Sessions ends up in a Military Tribunal or similarly CLEAN-and-pre-Senate-confirmed-requiring position.
