Yeah, I'm not sure what throne you are talking about because they've made it obvious that Satan is, indeed, the ruler of this earth:
Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. 9“All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”
10Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only'."
The greatest temptation for Christ was the ability to rule over people and do it justly. For the plan to work, he rejected Satan's offer, and the rest is history, so to speak. Would you like to suggest how it would have been awesome if we didn't have to wait on someone to take a few thousand years to get the redemption arc (in the form sacrificing the life of the most perfect person to have ever walked the earth) going, or do you want me to bring that up?
So either you believe:
-
God allowed his son to be sacrificed to Satan in a show of compassion to all humanity that doesn't respect or love Him; hence, essentially fulfilling some blood sacrifice ritual of Baal.
-
It was a fairy tale story that… pretty much says the same thing.
Why wouldn't God just get pissed that Satan "actually went there" and do another flood-like event to wake humanity up? Here's what we're left with. Either:
-We as human beings aren't really all that bad, and it must be up to us to solve this problem.
or
-It's all bullshit; meaning, it must be up to us to solve this problem.
We don't need God to do that for us. We need each other, and we need our elected officials to make it count. That's why we're here, isn't it? Isn't that why we elected @POTUS in the first place? Right; I thought so.
But first, election. Gotta get that one out of the way. Which means what we really need is a supermajority.
