TYB, nice trips

Q dropped two MOPS at 23:00 UTC. Checked B-2 Spirit home base of Whiteman AFB for aircraft in vicinity at the time of the drop. Have tow close passes and no other candidates. DAL884 Boeing 757 tail N67171. Was just beginning it's takeoff roll from Kansas City at the time of the drop and passed just north of Whiteman AFB 15 minutes later on it's way to Atlanta. UAL2533 a Boeing 777 tail N77019 was cruising by to the south of the AFB at 39,000 11 minutes after the drop. It was out of Phoenix Sky Harbor and headed for DC. The two aircraft's flight tracks did cross east of Whiteman AFB. May or may not mean anything at all. Just making an observation based on timing of the drop. And the fact that there is only one B-2 AFB home base.

57-1499 | Boeing KC-135R Stratotanker | United States Air Force. Call sign SPUR71 100 miles inside Canadian Airspace and not pointed at Anchorage, Alaska either. Is there an upcoming Airshow that this one is going to make a guest appearance at?

Scratch that. Make that two USAF Boeing KC-135R Stratotankers. Second one has shown up on the display. 63-7999 is call sign SPUR70.

63-7999 nose art looks unique. Gonna' do a dig on that.
