>Q has not given crumbs for the motive [of AS 187] YET
Motive was obvious, there were many potentially landmark cases going before the Supreme Court in 2016, including one that determined the legality of Affirmative Action. Many leftist keystones were set to be struck down by SCOTUS until AS decided to tragically smother himself. Scalia's death meant that the cases ended up tied 4-4 and pushed back to the lower court rulings. Even without being able ram Merrick Garland into Scalia's seat, the cabal still won the battle.
It can't be stressed enough how important the 2016 election was just based on SC seats alone. Garland would have taken Scalia's seat, LL would have taken RBG's, and some other insane far-left diversity hires would be set to take Kennedy and Thomas's seats when they step down in the next few years. With the court stacked, Roberts and Alito would be the only token "conservatives," and it would have been good bye Constitution. Not to mention the hundred plus Federal Judge vacancies that would be filled with Clinton camarilla.
