State Department Silent Over Federally Funded University’s Plan To Host A U.S. Designated Terrorist

Mum’s the word from the U.S. Department of State, which chose not to respond to the controversy surrounding a member of a U.S. designated terrorist organization speaking at San Francisco State University this Wednesday.

State Department confirmed that they had received this reporter’s request for comment on Thursday morning and promised to provide a response. However, after multiple attempts, they chose to not respond.

Ranking Member of the House Intelligence Committee Rep. Devin Nunes, R-CA, however, said in a statement to SaraACarter.com that it’s unconscionable that SFSU is planning to host Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist Leila Khaled.

“This is just the latest of countless indications that higher education has become hopelessly politicized and is in dire need of a severe course correction,” said Nunes. “These schools should be educating our next generation of leaders, but instead they’re spreading a harmful, extremist ideology that champions terrorists and hijackers.”

Meanwhile, it looks like Khaled will speak via video teleconference without any repercussions from the U.S. government that funds the university.

PFLP is a State Department-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization, which raises questions as to why the State Department has refused to comment on the university’s decision.

Khaled was integral in two separate hijackings. In 1969, she was part of a team of terrorists that diverted TWA Flight 840 from Rome to Tel Aviv to Damascus, Syria. She also attempted in 1970 to hijack El Al flight 219 from Amsterdam to New York City on “Black September,” which refers to a series of simultaneous hijacking attacks that occurred in a single day.

A number of Khaled’s victims and student groups have condemned SFSU and called on the University to stop the event. However, SFSU President Lynn Mahoney defends her appearance, citing free speech.

Yale Publishes Graphic Guide to COVID-Proof Sex

Yale University published a comprehensive guide for how to have sex amid the coronavirus pandemic—so comprehensive, in fact, that it includes detailed descriptions of the sex acts thought to spread the virus.

Yale's health department circulated a "Safer Sex During COVID-19" document that advises students to limit sexual interactions by masturbating and "liven up" their sex lives by wearing masks. The guidelines also offer tips on how to properly clean sex toys before and after use, and ask students to avoid "rimming, or any sexual activity that involves putting your mouth on the anus." Other tips include selective kissing, using condoms, washing hands before and after sex, and using the internet for sexual exchanges.

"Consensual virtual connections over the phone or on web platforms can be ways to interact socially and sexually without exchanging fluids," the guidelines read. "Use this time to liven up your sex life while staying safe!"

Under the "Spice It Up" subhead, the guidelines say heavy breathing can spread the virus and suggest students wear masks in bed to prevent infection. "Though wearing a mask while having sex might not be your thing, it is a good way to add a layer of protection, especially since heavy breathing can spread the virus further," the document states.

Similar sex guidelines were issued at the University of Georgia, though the school removed the list following online ridicule. The language of both the University of Georgia's and Yale's guidelines mimic that of the University of Maryland Medical System and the New York City Department of Health.

Yale is also encouraging students to partake in cybersex and masturbation, saying that "you are your safest sex partner." According to a Frontiers in Psychiatry study, however, cybersex sometimes "serves as another outlet for gratification that feeds a previous problem," especially for those addicted to drugs and alcohol. College students abuse drugs at some of the highest rates in the United States.

The university did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

Donald Trump: ‘I’m So Angry at Republicans’ for Slow Investigations

President Donald Trump on Monday expressed his frustration with Republicans for failing to prosecute Democrats for what he viewed as obvious crimes.

The president spoke about Biden’s son Hunter cashing in on his father’s influence with foreign companies such as Ukraine, and then his father boasting that he forced the firing of a Ukrainian prosecutor.

“Does anything happen? Nothing happens,” Trump continued. “I’m so angry at Republicans. I am. I’m so angry.”

The president spoke about his frustrations to a group of workers in Dayton, Ohio.

Trump also noted that Biden and former President Barack Obama spied on his presidential campaign.

“It’s treason. [James] Comey and all the sleaze bags, they spied on my campaign and we caught ’em,” Trump said. “Let’s now see what happens.”

Trump cited reports of Republican-led investigations currently underway, suggesting that there was some hope of accountability.

The Senate Republicans’ probe of Biden and his son in Ukraine is nearing it’s completion, according to the Wall Street Journal. The investigation into the Justice Department’s investigation of Trump’s 2016 campaign by U.S. Attorney John Durham is also expected before the election.

“A lot of things are happening, you’re seeing. You’re reading the papers also: a lot of things are happening,” Trump said.

The president said he would continue to stay out of the Justice Department’s investigations and prosecutions.

“I stay out of it. I just say, ‘I’m trying like hell to stay out of it,'” he said. “But it’s a disgrace that it’s taken so long.”

"Maniacal Laughing Vandal" Derails Manhattan Subway Train By Tossing Metal Objects On Tracks

The debt laden and horrifically inefficient MTA, who has spent the better part of the last several months petitioning for bailout money amidst a historic collapse in riders, now has another problem on its hands after a Manhattan subway train derailed Sunday morning.

The wreck was blamed on a "maniacal, laughing vandal" who reportedly tossed metal plates onto the tracks, according to The Daily News.

The plates, called "D plates" were placed about 50 feet into 14th St. station. They are usually used to secure tracks to the roadbed and police say the ones that were thrown onto the tracks had been left behind by MTA workers. Three passengers were injured as a result of the derailment. 135 passengers were evacuated and the wreck tripped a breaker on the uptown express A train tracks between Canal and 34th Sts., leaving a second train without power. 125 people were on board and needed to be saved by a rescue train.

30 year old Demetrius Harvard reportedly tossed the plates onto the tracks before a bystander jumped onto the roadbed to try and clear them off the tracks before a train pulled in. Harvard then throw more of them onto the tracks as the train pulled further into the station.

The train's first two wheel sets were then thrown from the tracks causing the front car to slam into station pillars. Frank Jezycki, acting senior vice president of subways at NYC Transit, said that "hundreds of feet" of rail was damaged or destroyed.

MTA chief safety officer Pat Warren said: “We’ve ruled out that this was any malfunction of our equipment or any inappropriate action of our crews.”

Transport Workers Union Local 100 President Tony Utano stated: “This was an all-hands on deck emergency with transit workers from multiple divisions responding to assist riders and then begin repairing the extensive damage. It’s a stark reminder that the MTA can’t cut its frontline workers even if the federal government fails to provide funding in a COVID relief package.”

Harvard was seen laughing after the train derailed, but Good Samaritans chased him down and held him at the station until the NYPD arrived. He was brought to NYPD Transit District headquarters at the Canal St. station and was charged with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, assault and criminal trespassing.

It is being called one of New York's "most catastrophic train derailments in years". Harvard also has an "extensive criminal history" according to The Daily News - which means Mayor De Blasio will likely have him released immediately and cleared of all charges.
