It does not change; that's how similar the laws are.

There's no "intent" needed. They don't even have to prosecute him for "murder". He was 17 at the time of the incident. He obtained that firearm from someone that either broke a law giving it to him, or he "stole" it. He was not hunting, nor was he under supervision of an adult; AS PER STATE LAW.

Look, I hope Lin makes a good case for him; I really do. But Lin's got some homework to do, and he's going to have to work on his jury selection and persuasion skills for this one.

Well, your argument has gone from "He was in the right, fucker!" to "It wasn't a felony, it was a misdemeanor, fucker!" in a few short posts. How much further do you want to take this? Laws were broken all around by both sides. Both were in the wrong, and the best argument you all have is "Well, his reasons were patriotic and shiet". Kyle contributed to lawlessness as much as antifa did. It wasn't heroic. It was barely self-defense. It was definitely stupid.

-Misguided kid.

-No parents/guardian.

-Laws broken by everyone involved.

-Antifa scum dead (I'm OK with this, but it's still fucked up).

-Kyle's life, at the ripe old age of 17, ruined.
