Military Insider Bombshell! Trump Will Invoke The Insurrection Act & Article 88 To Stop TWO Coming Coup Attempts! How Is This Still Secret?!

President Trump and his businesses may face a tax fraud probe, according to a court filing submitted on Monday

The Manhattan district attorney office suggested that Trump's companies may be involved in tax and insurance fraud

The filing is the latest development in the two-year battle between the DA's office and President Trump

President Donald Trump and his businesses could face a tax fraud probe after Manhattan prosecutors suggested they had grounds to launch an investigation in a court filing submitted Monday.

The filing is the latest development in the two-year legal battle between Manhattan district attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr. and Trump that began over his tax returns and financial records. The investigation stalled after Trump’s lawyers challenged a subpoena the Manhattan DA office issued in August 2019.

The president’s team filed a complaint claiming the subpoena was “wildly overbroad” and politically motivated. They also allege that it was an act of “presidential harassment.” However, federal district judge Victor Marrero later dismissed the complaint.

The dispute reached the Supreme Court, which ruled against him in a 7-2 opinion July, The Hill reported.

“No citizen, not even the president, is categorically above the common duty to produce evidence when called upon in a criminal proceeding,” Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. wrote for the majority.

"We reaffirm that principle today and hold that the president is neither absolutely immune from state criminal subpoenas seeking his private papers nor entitled to a heightened standard of need," he added.

Trump has since filed an appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. His lawyers accused Marrero of “stacking the deck” against the president.

Vance, a Democrat, responded to the argument, saying that the subpoena did not directly accuse Trump or his businesses of any wrongdoing. However, the Manhattan DA’s office cited news reports and public testimony that allege Trump’s companies have engaged in a wide array of crimes, including tax and insurance fraud, and falsification of business records, according to a report by the New York Times.

"In particular, public reports have alleged that Trump Organization executives used fraudulent financial statements as part of long-standing practices of overstating assets sent to potential business partners and lenders and minimizing assets in tax returns," the DA’s office wrote.

Vance’s office began investigating the president after two women who claimed they had affairs with Trump received hush-money payments before the 2016 election.

Joe Biden: Voters Don’t Deserve to Know Whom I’d Appoint to Supreme Court

Joe Biden told a Milwaukee television station on Monday that voters do not deserve to know whom he would appoint to the Supreme Court.

After acknowledging he has a list of potential nominees, Joe Biden told TMJ 4 he simply is not going to share it.

He admitted the first selection was based on race and gender: a black woman. But beyond that, he would not provide additional details.

“Should voters know?” the reporter asked. “Should voters know who you’re going to appoint?”

“No, they don’t, but they will if I’m elected. They’ll have plenty of time,” Biden answered.

He claimed he would not share the names because it, among other things, would give critics too much time to scrutinize them.

During a rally in Swanton, Ohio, on Monday, Trump said why he thinks Biden is not releasing a list:

“They don’t want to show the judges because the only ones he can put in are far-left radicals,” Trump said, adding that a nominee “left-of-center” would not be enough for progressives.

“So he’s going to have to put in radicals,” Trump argued, “so he doesn’t want to show who his judges are.”

Trump added that if Biden divulged his picks, he would be “unelectable.”

US Embassy Manama Posts Security Alert For Americans in Bahrain After Deal With Israel

Bahrain joined the United Arab Emirates in signing a peace deal with Israel brokered by the US, becoming one of the first two Gulf countries to establish formal ties with the Jewish state. Before the US-mediated agreement, Israel enjoyed diplomatic relations only with Jordan and Egypt among Middle Eastern countries.

The United States embassy in Bahrain's capital of Manama issued a security alert on Monday, reminding US citizens in the kingdom "of the need for caution and awareness of personal security".

"The Embassy encourages all US citizens to review their personal security plans, remain aware of their surroundings, including local events, and maintain a high-level of vigilance", the embassy said.

In guidelines for Americans in Bahrain, the embassy recommended that they "keep a low profile, stay alert in locations frequented by tourists/Westerners" and "avoid crowds and demonstrations".

The security alert comes several days after Bahrain saw protests over the kingdom's decision to join the United Arab Emirates in the peace deal with Israel, which was mediated by the US. Demonstrations against the government's normalization of ties with Tel Aviv have been ongoing in Manama and other cities in Bahrain for over a week.

The deal, dubbed the Abraham Accords, envisaged the UAE and Bahrain establishing diplomatic ties and improving relations in other areas with Israel in exchange for Tel Aviv promising to backtrack on its intention to extend the sovereignty over parts of the West Bank.

The three countries agreed to cooperate in trade, innovation, tourism and culture, energy, environment, science and other branches.

The accords were signed in the White House on Tuesday between the US President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and the foreign ministers of the UAE and Bahrain - Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.

The move by the two Gulf countries to normalize ties with Israel has seen mixed reaction, with some international players, including Egypt and the EU, meeting the deal as a step toward stability in the Middle East, and others, like the Palestinians, Iran and Turkey, slamming it as a betrayal of the Palestinian cause.

Bahrain and the UAE joined Jordan and Egypt in the list of Middle Eastern countries that have established formal relations with Israel. Jordan signed a peace deal with the Jewish state in 1994, and Egypt established full diplomatic ties with the country in 1980.

Washington Post goes all-in with domestic terrorism, now serves as haven for Antifa propaganda

On Sept. 11, 2020, The Washington Post (WaPo) published a “perspective” piece written by Rutgers University “historian” Mark Bray that praises the work of Antifa while decrying the group’s detractors.

Published in the Sunday Outlook op-ed section of the left-wing paper, Bray’s “Five Myths” feature claims to debunk the narrative that Antifa is a violent domestic terrorist organization, which is how the group was classified by the Trump administration.

Bray, author of the book Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook, contends that Antifa is a “staple of radical politics” both here and abroad for decades. Describing the group’s work as “militant antifascism,” Bray sees nothing wrong with Antifa, noting its “long history under the banner of the Anti-Racist Action network.”

According to Bray, Antifa is not a single organization, but rather a loosely affiliated network of activists whose politics center around “revolutionary opposition to the far right.”

Bray also opposes the idea that Antifa are the “masterminds” behind all the violence taking place at Black Lives Matter (BLM) “protests.”

“… neither the Justice Department, the FBI nor the press have found evidence to corroborate the grandiose allegation that the most widespread and significant political upheaval this country has seen in half a century was masterminded by one shadowy organization,” he contends.

Even though independent journalists like Andy Ngô have proven, with actual evidence, that Antifa militants are responsible for much of the rioting, looting and violence taking place across America, Bray wants people to believe that Antifa is innocent of most charges.

As to the claim that Antifa are the “real fascists,” a popular rebuttal to the violent movement, Bray claims that this, too, is a misnomer. In his view, the fact that Antifa is derived from the word antifascist somehow proves that its goals and agenda are to defeat fascism rather than promote it.

“Comparing antifascists to fascists only makes a bit of sense if one divorces the tactics from the underlying views that animate them,” he insists. “Such comparisons stem from the misguided horseshoe theory: that ultimately political extremes meet.”

Antifa relies on capitalism to raise money for its anti-capitalism activities

None of Bray’s arguments hold any weight, to be frank. Their presuppositions are inherently flawed and stem from Bray’s own misguided belief that Antifa truly is an antifascist movement rather than the fascist movement it has long proven itself to be.

We know from the testimony of Kyle Shideler, director of the Center for Security Policy, that Antifa is both well-organized and well-funded. Its basic structure is an affinity group that Shideler described as:

Norfolk Shipyard CO Is 4th Navy Leader to Be Fired in a Month

The captain who oversaw the Navy's largest and oldest industrial facility has been removed from his job.

Capt. Kai Torkelson, who led the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Virginia, was relieved of command Monday by Vice Adm. Bill Galinis, the head of Naval Sea Systems Command. Galinis lost confidence in Torkelson's ability to command, according to a Navy news release announcing the relief.

No additional details about the situation were immediately provided. Officials with Naval Sea Systems Command did not respond to questions about what led Galinis to lose confidence in Torkelson's ability to command.

Rear Adm. Howard Markle, director of NAVSEA's industrial operations directorate, has assumed duties as the acting commander until a permanent relief is named, officials said in the release.

Torkelson, a third-generation naval officer, assumed command of Norfolk Naval Shipyard in June 2018, according to his official bio. He spent 12 years as a submarine officer before joining the engineering community.

He was one of the first five engineering duty officers to volunteer for an Operation Iraqi Freedom assignment, the bio states. Torkelson traveled throughout 14 of Iraq's 18 provinces, where he rebuilt the country's military bases alongside local officials, according to his bio.

His personal awards include the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service, Navy Commendation and Navy Achievement Medals.

Torkelson is at least the fourth Navy leader to be relieved of command in the last month due to a loss of confidence.

Cmdr. Robert Arias was removed as Naval Technical Training Center Lackland's commanding officer on Sept. 11. Cmdr. John Gaines was relieved of command of the guided-missile destroyer Arleigh Burke on Sept. 3 after an investigation into self-reported personal misconduct. And Cmdr. Erin Borozny was relieved of command of Navy Operational Support Center Portland, Washington, in late August over a loss of confidence in her ability to lead.

US Space Force deploys to vast new frontier: Arabian Desert

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — The newly formed U.S. Space Force is deploying troops to a vast new frontier: the Arabian Peninsula.

Space Force now has a squadron of 20 airmen stationed at Qatar’s Al-Udeid Air Base in its first foreign deployment. The force, pushed by President Donald Trump, represents the sixth branch of the U.S. military and the first new military service since the creation of the Air Force in 1947.

It has provoked skepticism in Congress, satire on Netflix, and, with its uncannily similar logo, “Star Trek” jokes about intergalactic battles.

Future wars may be waged in outer space, but the Arabian Desert already saw what military experts dub the world’s first “space war” — the 1991 Desert Storm operation to drive Iraqi forces from Kuwait. Today, the U.S. faces new threats in the region from Iran’s missile program and efforts to jam, hack and blind satellites.

“We’re starting to see other nations that are extremely aggressive in preparing to extend conflict into space,” Col. Todd Benson, director of Space Force troops at Al-Udeid, told The Associated Press. “We have to be able to compete and defend and protect all of our national interests.”

In a swearing-in ceremony earlier this month at Al-Udeid, 20 Air Force troops, flanked by American flags and massive satellites, entered Space Force. Soon several more will join the unit of “core space operators” who will run satellites, track enemy maneuvers and try to avert conflicts in space.

“The missions are not new and the people are not necessarily new,” Benson said.

That troubles some American lawmakers who view the branch, with its projected force of 16,000 troops and 2021 budget of $15.4 billion, as a vanity project for Trump ahead of the November presidential election.

Concerns over the weaponization of outer space are decades old. But as space becomes increasingly contested, military experts have cited the need for a space corps devoted to defending American interests.

Threats from global competitors have grown since the Persian Gulf War in 1991, when the U.S. military first relied on GPS coordinates to tell troops where they were in the desert as they pushed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein’s forces out of Kuwait.

Benson declined to name the “aggressive” nations his airmen will monitor and potentially combat. But the decision to deploy Space Force personnel at Al-Udeid follows months of escalating tensions between the U.S. and Iran.

Hostilities between the two countries, ignited by Trump’s unilateral withdrawal of the U.S. from Iran’s nuclear accord, came to a head in January when U.S. forces killed a top Iranian general. Iran responded by launching ballistic missiles at American soldiers in Iraq.

This spring, Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard launched its first satellite into space, revealing what experts describe as a secret military space program. The Trump administration has imposed sanctions on Iran’s space agency, accusing it of developing ballistic missiles under the cover of a civilian program to set satellites into orbit.

DOJ denies House Dems' request for officials to testify citing treatment of AG Barr in prior hearing

One official fears the question-and-answer sessions would deteriorate into 'public spectacles'

Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd on Monday refused the Democrat-led House Judiciary Committee's request that Department of Justice officials testify in two upcoming hearings, saying he fears the question-and-answer sessions would deteriorate into "public spectacles" considering how Attorney General William Barr was treated by Democrats during a hearing in July.

In a letter to Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) obtained by BuzzFeed, Boyd responded to the committee's request that his fellow Assistant Attorney General Eric Dreiband appear before a Judiciary subcommittee later this week, and that Bureau of Prison Director Michael Carvajal and U.S. Marshals Service Director Donald Washington testify before another Judiciary subcommittee hearing on Oct. 1.

Boyd told Nadler that while the DOJ "recognizes that the Committee has a legitimate interest in oversight of the Department," the agency would not send the officials to testify because of the way Democrats treated Barr when he appeared before the full committee on July 28.

The assistant attorney general cited a New York Times story that reported, "Democrat after Democrat posed questions to Mr. Barr only to cut him off when he tried to reply, substituting their own replies for his."

"All told, when the Attorney General tried to address the Committee's questions, he was interrupted and silenced in excess of 70 times," Boyd wrote, explaining:

"We very much regret that the Committee did not elect to engage in a meaningful, good-faith effort to obtain information and views from the Attorney General while he was present and prepared to testify. Having squandered its opportunity to conduct a meaningful oversight hearing with the Attorney General, it remains unclear how further public spectacles with other Department officials would now—a mere 14 legislative days since the Attorney General's hearing—advance the Committee's legitimate oversight efforts."

Boyd also pointed out that Barr was made available to address the topics the committee wants to inquire about from other DOJ officials in the coming weeks, but that the Department "would be happy to work with [the committee] regarding the scheduling of additional oversight hearings in the future."

During Barr's July 28 testimony before the House Judiciary Committee, there were a number of tense exchanges that commonly occur during hearings that are televised for the public.

In one particular moment that was blasted by some for its perceived pettiness, Chairman Nadler denied the attorney general's request for a five-minute break to have lunch.

Nadler eventually gave in and allowed the recess following protest from other members and Barr himself who shook his head and laughed when he told Nadler, "You're a real class act, Mr. Chairman. A real class act."

Democrats cry ‘fascism’ as Florida Gov. DeSantis proposes making participation in ‘disorderly assemblies’ a FELONY

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has called for a harsh crackdown on violent and “disorderly” protests, proposing a bill that would bring steep penalties for rioting. Critics insist the law is a “fascist” ban on free expression.

The Republican governor introduced the new law during a Monday press conference – the Combating Violence, Disorder, and Looting and Law Enforcement Protection Act – which, if passed by the state legislature, would make participation in “disorderly assemblies” a third-degree felony, among other measures.

“Our right to peacefully assemble is one of our most cherished as Americans, but throughout the country we’ve seen that right being taken advantage of by professional agitators, bent on sowing disorder and causing mayhem in our cities,” DeSantis said in a statement.

I will not allow this kind of violence to occur here in Florida.

The law would mandate minimum six-month sentences for anyone found guilty of striking a police officer – “including with a projectile” – during a violent protest, and upgrade offenses such as blocking roadways, public harassment and destruction of monuments to felonies. It defines “disorderly assemblies” as “when 7 or more persons are involved in an assembly and cause damage to property or injury to other persons.”

Among its more controversial provisions, the legislation will also pull state resources from cities and counties that vote to defund their police departments, and establish legal protections for motorists if they accidentally hit somebody while escaping protesters’ wrath:

Driver is NOT liable for injury or death caused if fleeing for safety from a mob.

Though DeSantis argued the law would act as a strong deterrent against rioting and violence amid months of chaotic protests against police brutality, his Democrat detractors denounced it as a “fascist” crackdown on Americans’ right to protest and assemble. Some insisted it would empower police to declare all future demonstrations “violent” to shut them down by force.

One critic suggested the bill was merely a ploy to “distract” from the governor’s “disastrous covid response,” also observing that it proposes charges related to racketeering for protest organizers.

Assange's fiancee asks Scott Morrison to guarantee family's safety

ondon: The mother of Julian Assange's children is seeking Australian citizenship for their sons and has called on Prime Minister Scott Morrison to promise the family would be safe to live in Australia if the WikiLeaks founder escapes being extradited to the United States.

Speaking to The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, Stella Morris said she would love to live in Australia but only if the family's safety was guaranteed.

Morris said she planned to wed Assange by Christmas outside Belmarsh Prison on London's outskirts, where the 49-year-old is in remand while he fights his extradition to the US.

The Wikileaks founder is resisting an application to send him to the US to answer an 18-count American indictment. Assange has been formally rearrested on a new US indictment, which updates and broadens previous charges. All but one are for violations of the country’s Espionage Act.

The pair began a relationship inside the Ecuadorian embassy in 2015, four years after they first met. Assange had been living in the embassy since 2012 after seeking refuge to avoid arrest and extradition to Sweden.

At the time, the South African born Morris had joined his legal team to help fight his extradition to Sweden, where he was accused of sexual assault. Swedish authorities dropped the investigation in 2019.

The pair had two children — Gabriel, 3, and Max, 18 months — keeping their relationship and growing family a secret from the outside world until earlier this year.

Morris said she and Assange had thought having a family together would be impossible but began dreaming of the idea and finally pursuing it after former US president Barack Obama pardoned Chelsea Manning, the former soldier and whistleblower who was convicted of espionage.

"The trajectory was that he [Julian] would be free and also the Department of Justice had announced that it would not prosecute him for the Manning disclosures," she said.

"It was a rational decision, I was 33 at the time and I knew I wanted children and it was faith in our love for each other and the certainty, a feeling that this was right."

Grassroots Coalition Pushing New York Governor to Sign Bill Putting Moratorium on Facial Recognition in Schools

Grassroots activists in New York are putting pressure on Gov. Andrew Cuomo to sign a bill that would place a temporary moratorium on facial recognition technology in the state’s schools. The proposed law would not only help protect privacy in New York, but it would also hinder one aspect of the federal surveillance state.

Assm. Monica Wallace (D-Lancaster) introduced Assembly Bill 6787 (A6787) in March. Sen. Brian Kavanagh (D-NYC) sponsored the Senate companion bill (S5140). The legislation would ban the purchase and use of biometric identifying technology, including facial recognition technology, by New York public and nonpublic elementary and secondary schools until July 1, 2022, or upon the completion of a full review on biometric surveillance in schools.

The bill would establish a commission to study whether biometric technology is appropriate for use in New York schools, and if so, what kind of restrictions should be placed on their use. This creates an opportunity to implement a permanent ban or at least substantial limits on facial recognition in New York schools.

On Tuesday, the Assembly passed A6787 by a 118-21 vote. The following day, the Senate substituted the Assembly bill for the Senate bill and gave final approval sending the measure to the governor.

The Tenth Amendment Center is part of a coalition of more than 40 organizations working for the passage of this bill. That coalition is now pushing Cuomo to sign the legislation into law.

Enactment of A6787 would take the first step toward limiting biometric surveillance and facial recognition in New York by temporarily halting its use and creating a process for further limits in the future.

It would also hinder a federal program to create a nationwide facial recognition surveillance database.

IMPACT ON FEDERAL PROGRAMS

A recent report revealed that the federal government has turned state drivers’ license photos into a giant facial recognition database, putting virtually every driver in America in a perpetual electronic police lineup. The revelations generated widespread outrage, but this story isn’t new. The federal government has been developing a massive, nationwide facial recognition system for years.

The FBI rolled out a nationwide facial-recognition program in the fall of 2014, with the goal of building a giant biometric database with pictures provided by the states and corporate friends.

In 2016, the Center on Privacy and Technology at Georgetown Law released “The Perpetual Lineup,” a massive report on law enforcement use of facial recognition technology in the U.S. You can read the complete report at perpetuallineup.org. The organization conducted a year-long investigation and collected more than 15,000 pages of documents through more than 100 public records requests. The report paints a disturbing picture of intense cooperation between the federal government, and state and local law enforcement to develop a massive facial recognition database.

“Face recognition is a powerful technology that requires strict oversight. But those controls, by and large, don’t exist today,” report co-author Clare Garvie said. “With only a few exceptions, there are no laws governing police use of the technology, no standards ensuring its accuracy, and no systems checking for bias. It’s a wild west.”

Prince Charles wants a military-style campaign to fight global warming

The heir to the British throne has sensationally declared the threat of climate change is so great it will “dwarf” COVID-19 and the world needs a military-style response to the “comprehensive catastrophe”.

“I can see no other way forward but to call for a marshall-like plan for nature, people and planet,” he said.

“Without doubt, we must now put ourselves on a warlike footing, approaching our action from the perspective of a military-style campaign.

“If we have the resolve to shift our trajectory, we must start now by bringing forward our net zero target, I'm afraid 2050 simply suggests we have room to delay.”

Prince Charles issued the warning via video for the opening of Climate Week NYC – claiming climate change will “dwarf” the ravages of COVID-19 – offering an ambitious target of 2030 for nations to cut emissions.

The decades-long environmental campaigner said he was launching RE:TV, a video platform championing sustainable solutions.

In a promotion video for the platform, Prince Charles claimed the population would require four Earth-like planets to “survive” or “provide” for everybody.
