She called it Pyewacket, I asked her why she called it that, she said her Mom's cat and her grandma's cat was named that.

Looked that name up in the library (before internet) and found it was a name witches in the 1600s named their cats - figured she was in a long line of witches going back centuries, and it freaked me out.
