ESPN host claims 'extreme right-wing agitators' carrying out violence 'to make protests look bad'

Max Kellerman did not provide evidence for his assertion

ESPN host Max Kellerman claimed Tuesday that "a big percentage" of the violence that has occurred during the ongoing protests in the U.S. for the past several months has been carried out by "extremist right-wing agitators," who are trying "to make the protests look bad."

According to The Hill, Kellerman, who co-hosts "First Take" with Stephen A. Smith, told the show's audience that "93% of the protests are peaceful," arguing that "the 7 percent [that] are not, there is a very broad definition of what's not quote-unquote peaceful. For example, if you block traffic or something like that. Or if you respond to police provocation.

"And even then," Kellerman continued, "a big percentage of that that wasn't peaceful is actually outside agitators, extremist right-wing agitators posing as protesters to make the protests look bad."

Politicos on both sides of the aisle reacted to Kellerman's comments on social media, with conservative Ian Miles Cheong tweeting, "There is no evidence to support this claim, and it dismisses the unrest Antifa itself is proud of."

Liberal Wajahat Ali tweeted, "White Trump supporters are really angry with Max Kellerman which means he probably said something on point."

The sports pundit was reacting to UFC star Colby Covington, a fan of President Donald Trump, saying in a post-victory speech over the weekend, "I'm sick of these woke athletes and these spineless cowards like LeBron James."

Anything else?

Kellerman is starting to make a name for himself in the political world, thanks to statements he has made recently that have won him both praise and scorn on social media.

Last month, Kellerman said on "First Take" that SEC football fans "seem to be very low, susceptible to very low quality information and easy to propagandize and almost immune to facts," such as Fox News' "propaganda."

Kellerman echoed similar feelings in a separate segment, saying that Chicago Bears Hall of Fame linebacker Brian Urlacher seemed "susceptible to low-quality information" after the former NFL player criticized NBA players for boycotting playoff games over the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

"Brett Favre played the MNF game the day his dad died, threw 4 TDs in the first half, and was a legend for playing in the face of adversity," Urlacher posted on Instagram, according to NFL.com. "NBA players boycott the playoffs because a dude reaching for a knife, wanted on a felony sexual assault warrant, was shot by police."

The NFL's news release distanced the league and the Chicago Bears from Urlacher over his comments, but noted, "Court records show an arrest warrant had been issued for Blake for criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and third-degree sexual assault, a felony, per The New York Times."

Canada's Speech From The Throne

On August 18th, 2020, the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau asked Governor General Julie Payette to prorogue Parliament.

This means all parliamentary activity stops until a new session of parliament is opened with what is called a Speech from the Throne. This also means that all business conducted by the House of Commons must be restarted in the new session. A Speech from the Throne is where the government introduces its direction and goals.

The Speech from the Throne is currently scheduled for September 23rd, 2020.

It is our belief that the Liberal Government of Canada may introduce significant new spending programs in the upcoming Speech from the Throne, setting a precedent for other countries to implement similar programs.

In the past few years there has been a major shift, particularly amongst western countries, towards expanded fiscal deficit spending. The current environment of historically low interest rates encourages borrowing to fund these programs. Canada has positioned itself to be one of the first major countries to rapidly expand spending, regardless of fiscal anchors such as the net national debt, and debt to GDP ratio. We could see the first indication of this shift in the Speech from the Throne on September 23rd, 2020.

If major spending initiatives are announced without accompanying sources of income to fund them, we can infer that the national debt will surge. Markets will be watching closely, and if reactions to the anticipated shift are muted then this will give tacit permission for other comparable countries and sub sovereigns to do the same. This could also be a major step in bringing modern monetary theory (MMT) into the mainstream.

The Speech from the Throne is significant because we will hear in detail what the Liberal Government plans to do with their time in government. We believe there is a real possibility of a significant shift to the left in government policy, accompanied by increased deficit spending. The reasons for this are as follows:

The coronavirus pandemic, and the resultant need to stimulate the economy.

Low interest rates where the cost of money is essentially free (0.25% nominal interest rates, and negative real rates).

The need to shift attention away from the WE Charity scandal.

The ability to displace the New Democratic Party on the political spectrum and position the Liberals in a place where they can expect to have success in the next election.

Leaks to the media demonstrating the Trudeau government’s preference for increased spending, although messaging from the Liberals has become more mixed in recent days.

This paper will give a brief overview of how the Canadian system of government works, what we expect to happen with the Speech from the Throne, and the impact on the national debt and the economy.

US involved in major Bathurst granny flat raid over alleged international drug and firearm crimes

A major NSW police operation involving US Homeland Security hit a granny flat in Bathurst today, with a man arrested over alleged international firearm and drug crimes.

Teams from multiple agencies searched the home on Violet and Prospect Streets, and a specialist Hazmat unit was called in after police said a "suspicious substance" was found inside.

The man, 36, was arrested after police last month received information over the alleged importation of firearm parts and drug manufacturing equipment into Australia from the US, Hong Kong, China, Germany and Japan.

NSW Police footage of the raid showed authorities speaking to the man, who wore dark sunglasses, a gold watch and a gold chain.

The investigation, which began in August, was conducted by NSW Police in tandem with Australian Border Force and US Homeland Security.

Specialist officers from the Rescue and Bomb Disposal Unit and the Drug and Firearms Squad's Chemical Operations Unit were also part of the Bathurst raid.

The man was served with firearms and weapons prohibition orders before he was arrested and taken to Bathurst Police Station, where he is expected to be charged.

Costco CANCELS Palmetto Cheese after foodmaker's owner criticizes Black Lives Matter on Facebook, triggers woke brigade boycott

Costco has halted sales of Palmetto Cheese, a popular brand of pimento cheese spread that had been offered in over 120 of its stores, after the company's owner triggered outrage with a Facebook post criticizing Black Lives Matter.

A sign posted at a store in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, indicates that Palmetto Cheese has been discontinued and will not be ordered again by Costco. The retailer hasn't made a statement on its decision, but the move came after consumers called for a boycott of the brand because of social media comments by Palmetto Cheese's owner, Brian Henry.

Costco is in the process of removing Palmetto Cheese from its shelves, with a note at the Myrtle Beach location indicating that it will not be re-ordered.Our @NickMasudaPhoto with the #breakingnews: https://t.co/fPUNhGCKAo

"This BLM and Antifa movement must be treated like the terror organizations that they are," Henry said in an Aug. 25 Facebook post that has since been deleted. He wrote the message in response to the alleged shootings of three white people by a black man in Georgetown, South Carolina. He complained that BLM and Antifa were being allowed to "lawlessly destroy great American cities and threaten their citizens on a daily basis" and declared "All lives matter. There, I said it. So am I a racist now?"

This is the owner of Palmetto Cheese. Racism is not it. #boycottpalmettochesepic.twitter.com/PbscLB9UCU

The reaction on social media was swift, with commenters calling Henry a racist. Activists jumped into action with a boycott campaign against Palmetto Cheese. A Twitter account was set up mocking the company as "Appropriation Cheese," because of its use of a black woman on its packaging who worked for the company before dying earlier this year.

Activists on the Appropriation Cheese page celebrated Costco's decision and pressed for more. One commenter on Tuesday thanked Costco and demanded that Kroger, Lowes Foods and other retailers cancel Palmetto Cheese. Another boycott supporter called on Publix Super Markets to drop the product, saying, "Costco pulled Palmetto Cheese because of the open racism of its owner. We are hoping you are considering the same." Still another said, "Attention Corporate America. This is how you ally."

Thank you #costco now @kroger@LowesFoods must step up- this crap was actually in my cart #brianbuckhenry@palmettocheese - #BlackLivesMatterhttps://t.co/oKiX1tj0cE

But others lamented Costco's move and the divisiveness it represents. "This is how divided the country has become," one commenter tweeted. "Even store chains are picking sides now. This is insane." There were those who defended Henry, saying that criticizing the group doesn't mean that one is racist.

This is how divided this country has become. Even store chains are picking sides now. This is insane.

— Ben Rivers (@BenRiversTweets) September 22, 2020

What is racist about this post? All lives do matter, everyone’s family would be devastated, if they were murdered. The msm only reports stuff to divide people, by placing people’s race into events. Criminals resisting arrest end up dead. Who cares they are white or black.

— Bill's Tools (@BillsTools_com) September 22, 2020

Henry, who also is mayor of the small South Carolina coastal town of Pawleys Island, may have squandered a chance to inspire a boycott-backlash movement – like that Goya Foods enjoyed after its owner was vilified for praising President Donald Trump – when he issued an apology on Sept. 3. He said his comments were "hurtful and insensitive."

"I spent the last 10 days listening and learning," Henry said. "The conversations I have had with friends, our staff, the community and faith-based leaders provided me with a deeper understanding of racial inequality and the importance of diversity sensitivity."

Delaware Police Seize Enough Fentanyl To Kill At least 75% Of State's Population

On Monday, Delaware State Police and the FBI announced a two-year, multi-jurisdictional investigation that led to the arrest of more than two dozen people connected with a significant drug organization operating in Deleware, reported local news station WDEL.

Delaware State Police said the crackdown on the criminal gang resulted in the "largest seizure of fentanyl in state history."

A total of 28 people were arrested and are now charged with 252 felonies, including criminal racketeering, conspiracy, and drug dealing

Lt. Robert Jones of the Delaware State Police, who spoke at the news conference at Troop 2 station in Newark, said law enforcement seized seven-and-half kilograms of fentanyl. He said, given the potency of the drug, "it was enough fentanyl to kill 750,000 Delawareans."

Delaware State Police Superintendent Colonel Melissa Zebley said it would be "hard to measure the full gravity this criminal organization could have had in our state."

Representatives from other police agencies, including the FBI Baltimore Field Office, and the Delaware Attorney General Kathleen Jennings, also attended the press conference on Monday.

Jennifer Boone, special agent in charge of the FBI's Baltimore Field Office, said:

"Included in these results was the largest fentanyl seizure by Delaware law enforcement in the state's history, making a major dent in the supply of fentanyl that would have been distributed on the streets of Newark and surrounding areas," said Boone. "Alone, the quantity of fentanyl seized could have killed thousands and thousands of people."

Law enforcement officers also seized a quarter-million dollars in cash, 20 firearms, millions of dollars worth of cocaine, heroin, crack, and marijuana, and five vehicles during the July raids of seven houses in Delaware and Philadelphia.

Readers may recall, the Trump administration recently announced a large meth bust that had operations spanning across the entire US.

President Trump continues to hold his promise to the American people in his campaign against illegal drugs that continue to flow from foreign countries onto the streets of US communities.

Mike Bloomberg Is Likely Breaking Federal Law by Paying off Felon Debts for Democrat Votes

As reported earlier former New York City Mayor and billionaire Mike Bloomberg raised $16 million to pay off the fines for 32,000 black and Hispanic Florida voters so they can vote for Joe Biden in the 2020 election.

Basketball icon Lebron James is also looking to pay convicted felons’ fines so they can vote for Joe Biden.

But tonight legal analyst J. Christian Adams argued that Michael Bloomberg is breaking federal and likely Florida state law by buying votes from felons.

Federal law makes it illegal to pay for or receive money for voting.

And J. Christian Adams also argued that Bloomberg is putting the felons in legal and financial jeopardy by paying off their debts for votes.

So will any Republican have the guts to press charges against this lawlessness?
