why do so many black musicians/artists/performers gravitate towards Islam ideologies?

The vast majority of black Americans are either Christian (79%) or religiously unaffiliated (18%), while about 2% of black Americans are Muslim.

The current state of pop culture is heavily invested in pushing Black culture threaded with Islamic meanings. Is it because of the pawns (leadership of AnR and management of the labels)

are Black folk from the 90s and 2000 music era? Do they believe it is their time? While people from the 60s and 70s counter culture dictate where the money goes? (Cause we know those entitled fools played around in the middle-east thinking they expanding)

Why was there a push to put certain leaders in entertainment positions in “Hollywood” in the last decade who would push the current climate? Who has gotten multi-million dollar deals(for example from Netflix)?
