HEY EVERYONE

Am I just a brainlet or does anyone else find it difficult to grasp the structure of government, the bigger picture? It appears much of the roles and connections are multigenerational, inherited. It's like an insider club or something.

Like, what do these people actually do and how do they know what they're doing?

For example, Trump's a good guy and everything, but does he actually have the personal responsibility to make decisions influencing billions of people, or is he just a figurehead for a smoothly running machine, with more experienced insiders making decisions?

Wouldn't that be quite a daunting job?

I suppose I view government as a follower, it's "above me" and "over my head", so why isn't it over Trump's head? What makes a man worthy to lead? Perhaps boldness, or his background enables that boldness?

Our PM appears incapable of even having a specific vision of the future. Is he just handed plans from power brokers above him?

Christian perspective might say something like, government is granted legitimacy from God, right? But then why are there powerful people influencing government which do evil things like "CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY"?

On the one hand, one wants trust and follow his government, Jesus, God, and live a peaceful simple life [be a sheep]. But then on the other hand, we learn that the people leading us are actually harming us, our trust is taken advantage of continually…
