Anon. There really is no explanation. Faith in Jesus is simply faith… I am baffled by atheists and seem to hit a brick wall because I am literally incapable of putting myself in their shoes. There has never been a question for me… And yes my life is in his hands. This is his creation and his will is being done. Whatever that means for me is ok with me. I trust him implicitly. Why I'm here, why I do whatever I do each day. I fall everyday and I still turn to him for hope the next day. Each day I move ever so slightly closer. It is a long slow process. If you think Q is taking long, try walking in faith with Jesus. The things I know now vs when I first started are only dwarfed by the things I'll know 20 years from now.
The only place to start is to open up a new testament and read it cover to cover… When you're done, read it again. It will speak to you ways that none of us here are capable of
