And one never knows just how far and wide to apply the [think mirror] concept. It COULD BE a kind of "get out of jail free card" for reversing the meaning of ANYTHING.
If it's God intervening in the affairs of men to clean it up in a more powerful way than usual, that would be an exception to the rule. Otherwise it would likely be one faction just overpowering another for the purpose of "meet the new king, different from, but kinda same as, the old king." "Kinda" does leave room for more benevolence, and considering what a failure (objectively looking at it) our entire "experiment in democracy/Republic" has been (still better results than most other contemporary systems), I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to a benevolent king, as opposed to the wicked, "the people chose this" mess we've had.
