I have been digging a little more into Philip Hackney the man who weaponized the IRS against conservatives. Check out his wife Jill Hackney, she is an artist from Baton Rouge, LA. Philip's father was an Anesthesiologist and pain management doctor in Baton Rouge. Philip used to own a rare used book store in Baton Rouge called Caliban Books. It's interesting how many family and associates Phil has with the last name Weiner. Philip is shown in most listing living in Pittsburgh. There is a Caliban book store located in Pittsburgh that was involved in a huge book heist. Not sure if related.

Jill has some connections in France and in Marfa, TX.

My art extends into and is enriched by my work in the community and my study of culture and language. I have had the honor to serve on the boards of the Louisiana Partnership for the Arts, CODOFIL (Council for the Development of French in Louisiana) and the Louisiana State Arts Council. I also served as president of the board of NUNU Arts and Culture Collective for 3.5 years. During my time as president of NUNU’s, with the encouragement and help from the French Consulate in New Orleans, I worked with my co-director, George Marks, on developing an international exchange with the organization Les Articulteurs in Redon, France. This led me to a study of the French language and the French diaspora. I have both curated and participated in international exhibits including French artists from the Bretagne region and Louisiana artists with the debut of the exhibition, “Degrees of Separation,” in Marfa, Texas.
