You are right. I was getting demoralized after that blow. I saw my fellow Meme Warriors getting obliterated, right in front of me.

You know. Guys like you and I. I knew them. Not long. But I knew them well enough that I could say, we are brothers in arms.

It's a feeling as if someone pulls the rug away under your feet. Your heart drops. Your hands get heavy. You know that they are not coming back from the frontlines.

I stopped smoking.

Sometimes it's hard.

You forget why you are even fighting. I do. But then it starts glimmering again. That little flame you thought was extinguished.

I tell you what that is. It's justice. Or as I have heard, Gods most beloved.

That's right, I am here to stand for justice. Not against my fellow kin. It's not about them anymore. I have laid down that kind of thinking in the first Meme War of 2016. It is something far bigger that we are fighting now. It's finally coming out of it's hiding place. It has been lurking there for a long time now. Ancient.

It's time for it to leave this place.
