Just up the road from Eli Lilly there used to be a Glaxo factory. This area of Speke hosts quite a few big pharma companies. Around the time of the organ harvesting scandal involving Alder Hey Children's hospital in Liverpool came to light, the Glaxo building was raised to the ground, another pharma company rebuilt on the site. I was always suspicious that 'they' were covering their tracks and wondered why pull something down to immediately rebuild. Sorry haven't time to research this atm.
If I remember correctly Jill Dando's boyfriend was high up in all this and there was speculation she knew what was afoot and silenced accordingly. Maybe some anon who is better at research could digg on this.
