Do you think that the lawsuit NXIVM started against several journalists who they alleged hacked NXIVM’s computers was in fact just to get those journalist’s out of the way so that their bosses at Conde Nast and Hearst Corporation could essentially steal the blackmail material NVIXM had on their targets?
The lawsuit did not name the deep pocketed owners of the media empires, just the lowly journalists (and 50 John Does, apparently)
IOW: was this a hostile takeover, so to speak, of one blackmail outlet over another?
Conde Nast / Hearst used their reporters more or less as patsies, telling them to pursue the story but then once they had the materials they threw them under the bus?
