Death and Taxes.
The website outage notice says to use alternative means to pay. That means pay your taxes. There's no way a website being down equates to freedom from taxes.

>Thanks for your service
I think we come to regret the current sentiment to put military folks on a pedestal. We should all serve our nation. Each in our own way.
I served in infantry.
That means I
saw the world on the taxpayer dime;
learned a lot of skills;
had a lot of fun blowing shit up at taxpayer expense;
got paid better than most folks of my age;
got drunk in a lot of ports;
got free medical care, a housing allowance, multiple cross country moves for my entire family;
etc.
Bottom line, I did my job and got paid. No one owes me any special thanks. Any veteran or service member who think he deserves special thanks or praise is just, flat out dangerous to our democracy.
