If you assume some kind of complete and unbreakable free will of soul, it would be a very valid assumption that you would place yourself in a world where there is no real danger of something permanently bad happening to you, all while keeping that particular instance of you in ignorance of that fact.

That would allow you to live in a Universe where whatever you choose to do magically turns out to have been the most right thing all along, even though you were tearing yourself up on the inside in the process. Then follows the biggest comic relief you have ever felt when you come to realize that you have basically been trolling yourself REALLY hard.

The conundrum is though, if a simple chain of logical though allows you to come to this conclusion, then that would kind of invalidate a rule you set out for yourself. Would it not?
