Quick rundown on Abe.

Like most pols in Japan, he is corrupt and from a corrupt family of politicians dating back at least as far as the war. The deep state saved his war criminal grandfather from punishment and later, he became Prime Minister.

It is likely Trump/Q owns him with all the info they have. Abe has been very accommodating to Trump.

It should come as no surprise that Abe now faces corruption charges in Japan and will either be removed from office or, at least, not allowed another term. This is a farce given that, like in our government, just about any office holder/bureaucrat could be charged with some form of corruption. It is probably no coincidence that Abe's corruption has just publicly arisen only since Trump met with him last year.
