It could never have approached the Pentagon on the alleged near parallel to ground surface considering the topography and buildings layout towards Arlington National Cemetery and the City of Arlington. The plane would have had to be on a final approach just a hundred yards or so above the Potomac and just barely above the Key Bridge which runs between Arlington and Georgetown. To come in just feet above and parallel to the ground surface WITHOUT "augering in" and leaving a crater outside the Pentagon absolutely defies aeronautics.
To create the damage the Pentagon suffered you would have to believe that the plane came in at extremely low altitude (500 to 1000 feet) then almost instantly, and impossibly, leveled out parallel with the ground surface the last quarter mile or so before hitting the building. There has to be some forensic drawings of the alleged flight path relative to the surrounding topography. I will dig for it. In the event that I cannot find one (and I'm pretty darn good with boolean searching) that fact alone raises suspicions that such a drawing would give lie to the alleged flight path. But I will dig first but I do remember trying this years ago and coming up empty.
