So speaks one who has never read the Ten Commandments, in particular, the fourth.

"Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work; but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord God; in it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your manservant, or your maidservant, or your cattle, or the sojourner who is within your gates; for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and hallowed it."

Or do you feel yourself qualified to stand in judgement over God's commandments as well His account of Creation, and allegorise those that don't fit with your personal narrative?

Your beliefs are manifestly inconsistent, that's what I was pointing out.

If you choose to dismiss the Creation account as a literal 7 days then consistency requires you dismiss the fourth commandment as a literal one day in seven. If you choose to do that then whether you admit it or not, you are standing in judgement over God's commandments.

Logic and reason not your strong point, then?

Ever wondered why Q constantly urges that we apply logic and reason?

Perhaps because it has become so sadly absent in these times, when it appears to be more acceptable to emote and opine all over the place than to apply logical consistency.
