The whole point of this muh russia investigation wasn't to nail him with fake evidence and bogus investigations. Its purpose was to put enough pressure on Trump (with the F_I, C_A, N_A) so he fucks up (illegal order, obstruction, etc). Then they nail him and the original investigation gets memory holed.
The tax bill was definitive proof that the neocons are on his side now (not that it matters). When was the last time you heard a republicuck call him an idiot (give or take) or mock him? Corker, Flake, McStain.None of them. To side with Trump over the uniparties interest is a feat of epic proportions.
