Yes,… I think so anyway. seen it for influenza A/B as well as many others (rhinovirus, parainfluenza, adenovirus). ARDS with scaring and restrictive lung disease as sequelae.

Perhaps.

SARS-COV-2 spread is not typical for any viral illness, that’s for sure. My son’s college roommate got it. Not my son. Seems less contagious than they say at minimum. Unsure how his roommate ever got it and other contacts also negative.

Prions are smaller than even a virus, not living, and do satisfy Koch’s postulates across a range of species. Do they have drugs that can trigger COVID? I don’t know. It would fit empirical data better than airborne spread of a virus from my anecdotal observations.
