I've been taking the Hillsdale Constitution 101 course with some friends (everyone should), and one of the things they constantly emphasize is that the Founders had realistic expectations of how men behave. They were not utopians (marxists, libs in general). They knew that both man and government had to be checked. The Bible is clear that no one is good, no not one. All are wicked and no one seeks God. Our Pelagian culture has led us to believe that man is morally perfectible, and our Arminian American religion has taught us that man is basically sort of sick, spiritually, instead of being spiritually dead - which is what the Bible teaches.
Our liberal brothers and sisters are not just walking around sick. It isn't going to take just a little video of Hillary cutting off a kids face. In fact, we know from experience that as they watch their celebrities and political heroes do wicked things, they no longer think those things are as bad. The easiest way to destroy a moral is to laugh at it. You are right - liberals will watch ten seconds of horrific video and not only will they turn around and scream ORANGE MAN BAD, they will also now ACCEPT that behavior from their leaders. Pedophilia is being normalized all over the place. Cuties has only been decried by the Right, and the left have defended it. This was unthinkable until the movie came out. But even just exposing wickedness sometimes normalizes it. We will see people who not only don't think that their leaders are bad for raping and eating children, they will defend and even attempt to participate in it.
No, 4-6% is definitely too optimistic. It will not take shocking revelations to wake people up. Spiritually dead people can only be awakened by the Gospel cry - "Sleepers, AWAKE!" Apart from Jesus, there is no awakening. Q has turned many back to Jesus Christ, and some have truly wakened. There are also those who have falsely awakened, but who cling to their gnostic spirituality which brings neither life nor health.
As justice starts to flow, we will have an opportunity to placard Christ crucified for our friends and relatives. The soil of their hearts will be tilled by justice, but you must sow the seeds of the Gospel and the Holy Spirit must regenerate their dead hearts.
No snuff film can do that.
This is why freedom seeds must start being distributed liberally throughout the country.
