Is China targeting American intellectuals with hazing campaigns and online intimidation and harassment?

I’ve experienced quite a bit of online harassment and am persistently cyberstalked and have been subject to bullying and gas lighting as well by seemingly random individuals.

So my other question is why? What is their endgame?

This is alarming because despotic regimes normally target the intellectuals first before trying to take power.
