What is the probability of simple molecules clicking together to for a self-replicating organism? Compared to that number, the number of planets in the universe isn't so great.
I take this as evidence that universe is truly infinite (life is practically impossible otherwise), that an infinite number of civilizations exists, but that they'd be so far apart that they'd never be able to find each other.
