Another Horrific Chicago Weekend: 5-Year Old Girl Stabbed, 49 People Shot

There's been another horrific and bloody weekend in Chicago, after multiple weekends running of a surge in shootings and homicides. As of the start of Monday at least 49 people had been shot, including seven fatally, based on police tallies and local reports.

This past weekend was particularly tragic as it included the stabbing death of a 5-year old girl:

Saturday morning police got a call for a person stabbed on Fulton Boulevard near Kedzie Avenue in East Garfield Park.

Serenity had multiple stab wounds. Neighbors tried to help her before paramedics got there. Paramedics arrived and rushed her to Stroger Hospital of Cook County where she died minutes later.

It is not clear what led to the stabbing, but the suspect walked up to officers and was taken into custody at the scene. Detectives earlier said they were investigating to see if Austin has a history of mental illness.

Like in prior weekends of widespread violence, the victims of shootings and knifings were overwhelmingly young. Teenagers were among the latest shooting victims.

The gun violence in the city began Friday night when a 19-year-old man reportedly was shot in the back and chest while walking in an alley. He later was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The next morning, a 17-year-old reportedly was standing in an alley in a different part of the city and was approached by two men. He was shot in the upper torso at about 11:10 a.m. and pronounced dead at the scene, NBC Chicago reported.

In other shootings targeting teenagers, a 17-year-old male was critically wounded in a drive-by attack in Englewood Sunday morning, while a 15-year-old male was struck in the leg after being approached by a vehicle later that day in the South Shore, police told the Chicago Sun-Times.

On Sunday night, a 20-year-old was reported to have died after being dropped off at a hospital in Englewood with a gunshot wound to his head.

Further, a woman said to be in her mid-20s was retrieved from a river believed killed after multiple stab wounds were found to her body.

The majority of victims from this latest weekend of deadly violence were males ranging in age from 15 to 66 years old.

Trump Campaign, GOP, Sue to Block North Carolina’s New Mail-in Ballot Rules #StopTheSteal

President Trump’s campaign and the Republican National Committee sued to block North Carolina’s new mail-in ballot rules.

Last week the Democrats cheered another victory after officials in North Carolina agreed to accept late ballots up until November 12 and to establish ballot drop off stations (ballot harvesting).

The Democrats in Nevada, Michigan and Pennsylvania have also passed similar measures in order to steal the election.

The Democrat-media complex is using the Coronavirus as a vehicle to usher in mail-in voting and ballot harvesting in an effort to steal the election.

North Carolina’s new guidance and consent decree, the state agrees to:

Count ALL ballots postmarked by Election Day and received by 11/12 – a whopping 9 days after the election!

Allow voters to correct their rejected mail ballots

Establish ballot drop-off stations (ballot harvesting)

Ballot harvesting is illegal in most states.

It means anybody can turn in a ballot for a prospective voter — no ID, no chain of custody.

Republican officials in many states have rejected ballot drop boxes because it could enable people to violate laws against collecting/harvesting ballots.

The Trump campaign and GOP argued in their lawsuit against North Carolina’s elections board and its chairman, that the new mail-in system will allow for absentee ballots to be cast without a required witness or notary public.

With the new changes, absentee voters who don’t complete information on their envelope about a person who witnessed them fill out the ballot will not be required to complete a new ballot and find another witness. The absentee voter will be able to turn in an affidavit claiming they filled out the original ballot.

No doubt the Democrats will exploit that change to absentee voting in order to flood the precincts with absentee ballots.

North Carolina is one of 8 states that requires a witness and or notary public in order to cast an absentee ballot.

Ron Paul: "Question 'The Science'? Go To Gulag!"

In the Soviet Union it was forbidden to dispute the wisdom of the “party line.” That’s because Marxian communism was viewed as the scientifically inevitable progression of mankind. For Marx and Lenin, the “science was settled.” Therefore anyone speaking out against “the science” of the Soviet system must be acting with malice; must actually want destruction; must want people to die.

Anyone voicing opposition to the “settled science” of Marxism-Leninism soon found their voice silenced. Oftentimes permanently.

Ironically, just 30 years after the “science” of Marxism-Leninism imploded for all the world to see, we are witnessing a resurgence here in the US of the idea that to question “the science” is not to seek truth or refine understanding of what appears to be conflicting evidence. And while we who question “the science” are not being physically carried off to the gulags for disputing the wisdom of our “betters” in the CDC or the World Health Organization, for example, we are finding that the outcome is the same. Last week on my daily news broadcast, the Ron Paul Liberty Report, we reported on two whistleblowers from inside the CDC and Big Pharma who raised serious and legitimate questions about the prevailing coronavirus narrative. The former Chief Science Officer for the pharmaceutical giant Pfizer, Dr. Mike Yeadon, has stated that from his experience he believes that nearly 90 percent of the current tests for Covid produce false positives. That means that this massive expansion in “cases,” used to justify continued attacks on our civil liberties, is simply phony.

As Dr. Yeadon said in a recent interview about the Orwellian UK coronavirus lockdown, “we are basing a government policy, an economic policy, a civil liberties policy, in terms of limiting people to six people in a meeting…all based on, what may well be, completely fake data on this coronavirus?”

Is Dr. Yeadon correct in claiming that based on his scientific observation there is no “second wave”? We don’t know. But we do know that his claims that the massive increase in “cases” in Europe used to justify new lockdowns are not in any way being matched with a similar increase in deaths. The EU’s own charts prove this. Deaths remain a flat line near zero while “cases” skyrocket to match the massive increase in testing.

Yet when we reported on Dr. Yeadon’s findings on the Liberty Report last week we found that for the first time ever, our program was removed by YouTube.

YouTube, owned by Google, which is firmly embedded into the deep state, was vague in explaining just where we violated their “community standards” by simply reporting on qualified scientists who happen to disagree with the mainstream coronavirus narrative.

But they did offer this shocking explanation in an email sent to us at the Ron Paul Liberty Report:

ICE announces more targeted arrests of criminal aliens in Mecklenburg County, many shielded by North Carolina non-cooperation policies

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced Monday that 12 criminal aliens were arrested in as part of a targeted enforcement operation by its Fugitive Operations Teams in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, from Sept. 21 to 25. Six of these arrests included criminals with active ICE detainers who instead of being transferred into federal custody were released back into the community where they were free to reoffend until their capture.

ICE has repeatedly asked local jurisdictions to reconsider non-cooperation policies enacted in recent years because those policies put politics before public safety and release criminals back into communities where they are free to reoffend.

ICE maintains that cooperation with local law enforcement is essential to protecting public safety, and the agency aims to work cooperatively with local jurisdictions to ensure that criminal aliens are not released into U.S. communities to commit additional crimes. Unfortunately, Mecklenburg County and others continue to not only refuse to honor ICE detainers but to even notify ICE when it is releasing a potential public safety threat back into the community.

“We are here because we cannot stand by idly while knowing the public is being misled about the role ICE plays in keeping the public safe,” said ICE Executive Associate Director Henry Lucero. “The fact is local policies prohibiting agencies from working with ICE put you in danger and waste police resources. The public should hold its leaders accountable and demand to know what type of criminals are being released from local custody instead of turned over to ICE.”

The COVID-19 death toll in all categories of long-term care facilities in Michigan remains a mystery. Although the state has reportedly been collecting data on coronavirus deaths since May 29, Michigan has not reported all of its data as other states have.

At the onset of the pandemic, Whitmer, like New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D), issued an executive order requiring nursing home facilities at less than 80% capacity to take in coronavirus patients. While her policy required infected residents to be housed in separate wings and attended by different staff than healthy residents, state inspections revealed that did not happen.

In June, the state reported that 1,947 nursing home residents and 20 staff members died of COVID-19. Those deaths account for one-third of all virus deaths in Michigan. It is not clear how many of those individuals were quarantined in nursing homes under Whitmer's coronavirus policies.

The Trump administration's Department of Justice has requested nursing home data from four states, including Michigan and New York, as part of an investigation into their nursing home policies and executive orders requiring nursing homes to admit COVID-19 patients into their facilities. The DOJ is seeking reports on the number of people nursing homes in these states admitted from a hospital or other medical facility after testing positive for COVID-19.

The federal government also wants data on the number of residents, employees, and visitors of public nursing homes who contracted the virus, without regard to where they contracted it, and how many of those individuals died.

"Protecting the rights of some of society's most vulnerable members, including elderly nursing home residents, is one of our country's most important obligations," Eric Dreiband, the assistant attorney general for the Civil Rights Division, said in a statement. "We must ensure they are adequately cared for with dignity and respect and not unnecessarily put at risk."

Whitmer and Cuomo accused the Trump administration of politicizing their policies in a joint statement released in August after the DOJ made its request.

Chief Science Officer for Pfizer Says "Second Wave" Faked on False-Positive COVID Tests, "Pandemic is Over"

In a stunning development, a former Chief Science Officer for the pharmaceutical giant Pfizer says "there is no science to suggest a second wave should happen." The "Big Pharma" insider asserts that false positive results from inherently unreliable COVID tests are being used to manufacture a "second wave" based on "new cases."

Dr. Mike Yeadon, a former Vice President and Chief Science Officer for Pfizer for 16 years, says that half or even "almost all" of tests for COVID are false positives. Dr. Yeadon also argues that the threshold for herd immunity may be much lower than previously thought, and may have been reached in many countries already.

In an interview last week Dr. Yeadon was asked:

"we are basing a government policy, an economic policy, a civil liberties policy, in terms of limiting people to six people in a meeting…all based on, what may well be, completely fake data on this coronavirus?"

Dr. Yeadon answered with a simple "yes."

Even more significantly, even if all positives were to be correct, Dr. Yeadon said that given the "shape" of all important indicators in a worldwide pandemic, such as hospitalizations, ICU utilization, and deaths, "the pandemic is fundamentally over."

Yeadon said in the interview:

"Were it not for the test data that you get from the TV all the time, you would rightly conclude that the pandemic was over, as nothing much has happened. Of course people go to the hospital, moving into the autumn flu season…but there is no science to suggest a second wave should happen."

In a paper published this month, which was co-authored by Yeadon and two of his colleagues, "How Likely is a Second Wave?", the scientists write:

"It has widely been observed that in all heavily infected countries in Europe and several of the US states likewise, that the shape of the daily deaths vs. time curves is similar to ours in the UK. Many of these curves are not just similar, but almost super imposable."

In the data for UK, Sweden, the US, and the world, it can be seen that in all cases, deaths were on the rise in March through mid or late April, then began tapering off in a smooth slope which flattened around the end of June and continues to today. The case rates however, based on testing, rise and swing upwards and downwards wildly.

Media messaging in the US is already ramping up expectations of a "second wave."

Estée Lauder and NASA partner for a skincare serum photoshoot on the International Space Station

Beauty giant Estée Lauder is paying NASA about $US128,000 to transport 10 bottles of a skincare serum into space for a photoshoot.

NASA’s astronauts won’t appear in the images of the “advanced night repair” serum taken from the International Space Station – but the cosmos will.

The shoot forms part of NASA’s plans to create a space-based economy.

Beauty giant Estée Lauder is sending one of its skincare serums to the International Space Station for a four-and-and-half hour photoshoot by NASA astronauts.

The brand is paying NASA about $US128,000 to send its “advanced night repair” serum to space.

A spacecraft delivering commercial supplies, including radish seeds, a new toilet, and 10 bottles of Estée Lauder serum, will launch from Virginia “no earlier than October 1,” and take around four days to reach the ISS, the companies said.

NASA astronauts will film and photograph the serum in the ISS’s Cupola, an observatory with seven windows that provide panoramic views of space.

The shoot will last around four-and-a-half hours, an agreement between the two organisations said. But the astronauts won’t appear in the images — or be paid extra to take the photos.

The items will return to Earth in the spring, and Estée Lauder will auction one bottle for charity.

The photoshoot forms part of NASA’s efforts to promote business opportunities on the ISS. NASA announced plans in 2019 to develop what it calls a “low-Earth orbit economy” that opens the ISS up to businesses. It will dedicate around 5% of crew time to commercial activities, it said, totalling around 90 hours of astronaut work time per year.

Estée Lauder is the first beauty brand to launch into space with NASA, it said in its release.

Key Points

The Fed has snapped up $1 trillion of mortgage bonds since March. It bought around $300 billion of the bonds in each of March and April, and since then has been buying about $100 billion a month.

The Fed now owns almost a third of bonds backed by home loans in the U.S.

Buying the securities has pushed mortgage rates lower, with the average 30-year rate falling to 2.91% as of last week from 3.3% in early February.

Morgan Stanley analysts pointed out in late March that the buying was running at eight times the pace seen in prior episodes of Fed purchasing under programs known as quantitative easing.

Just before this latest round, principal payments from its mortgage bond holdings had whittled that down to 21%, but it has now increased back to 30%.

If the Fed maintains its current buying pace, it will again own 34% of the mortgage universe by year’s end.

Meet a Canadian Citizen Who Voted in American Elections

I have waited more than two years to write this piece. During those 26 months, I have been waiting for one single news outlet to cover the case of Christine Chernosky, a Canadian citizen who voted in an American presidential election.

Remember the name: Christine Chernosky.

Despite all of the news outlets that cover elections, including well-funded philanthropic projects such as Pro Publica, the American Prospect, and even the fey leftist law professor who fancies himself the oracle of all the latest election news, Rick Hasen – not one single news outlet mentioned Christine Chernosky, the alien who voted in the presidential election.

We will get to why in a moment, but first some context.

I and others who study elections closely have been saying for at least five years that the greatest foreign influence on American elections is foreigners voting in them.

The problem has been documented in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and especially in sanctuary cities. It isn’t hard to find problems either. So many aliens are getting on the rolls that they write letters asking to be taken off when they realize it fouls up their naturalization applications to be breaking federal law by registering to vote.

Pennsylvania has allowed thousands, if not more, aliens onto their voter rolls. To add insult to injury, they are hiding the extent of the problem. I have been locked in federal litigation with Pennsylvania for years trying merely to obtain the government records associated with the mop-up Democrats in Pennsylvania’s executive branch attempted.

They have been playing hide-the-facts the whole time.

Virginia has had a problem with noncitizen voter registration. Fairfax County saw hundreds of people escape jury duty after they swore under oath they were not citizens – potential jurors drawn from the voter rolls. It turns out Virginia has been canceling citizens as non-citizens, a fact discovered only after the government classified these same individuals as “declared non-citizens” and vouched that they never re-registered to vote.

But alien voting is real, and it is happening in substantial numbers.

Whenever we say that, the usual phalanx on the left appears to discredit the allegation. Groups like LULAC, the League of Women Voters, and others even bring lawsuits to attack the messenger or to stop citizenship verification efforts.

Some of their favorite smears are that we are peddling in conspiracy theories or that there is no evidence of alien voting. Alien voting, you see, is probably the worst sort of voter fraud because it is entirely preventable, and Congress has the power to prevent it.

Many of the instances of alien voting are caused by a broken Motor Voter registration system. Enacted by Congress as new President Bill Clinton’s top priority, the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 mandated that states offer voter registration when people transact business at the state motor vehicles department.

Whether by design or accident, the last 27 years have been a mess.

Three children among five civilians killed in rocket attack outside Baghdad airport

Two women and three children were killed when two Katyusha rockets struck a residential area near Baghdad airport on Monday, Iraq’s military has said, in what were the first civilian casualties in months from attacks in the city.

The rockets apparently targeted the airport but ended up hitting a nearby home, which was completely destroyed. Besides the five fatalities, two children were also severely wounded in the attack.

The strike came from the Iraqi capital's al-Jihad neighborhood, the military said in a statement. It described the incident as a “cowardly crime” by “gangs” looking to sow chaos and to terrorize the population.

Iraqi PM Mustafa al-Kadhimi has ordered that those who fired the rockets be brought to justice, the statement read.

Rocket attacks have intensified in Iraq in recent weeks, targeting the US embassy in Baghdad, American troops and the airport.

Washington has blamed Shia militias with links to Iran, who have intensified their activities after Tehran’s top military commander, Qassem Soleimani, was assassinated in a US drone strike outside Baghdad airport in January.

The deteriorating security situation has prompted the US to threaten to shut down its Baghdad embassy altogether if Iraqi authorities won’t deal with the militias.

Preparations for the withdrawal of diplomatic staff were being made at the US mission in Baghdad over the weekend, American and Iraqi sources told Reuters.
