Sen Harris should recuse herself from actively participating in the confirmation hearings as she is actively competing against the person nominating Judge Barrett. Sen Harris can observe the nominees answers and reactions and then advise and consent (or not consent) to confirm the nominee.

If the left expects Judge (soon to be Associate Justice) Barrett to recuse herself from any brouhaha arising from the election. Will Harris be the brighter light?
