The movie "Brainstorm" is a drop from decades ago in a Future Proves Past. The end of the movie shows the actual plan of the Great Awakening itself. Everything in the movie is allegory and archetypes.
Basically a hero has to used the internet to destroy is company that is out of control and corrupt. Nothing in the movie is meaningless but granted it might be hard to understand.
Micheal is the Archeangel Micheal. They hint at this right at the start of the movie when Louise Fletcher calls him "Angel"
The end is awesome when you realize this is not a movie at all but a huge reveal.
