Sheriff & DA Arrested for Destroying Video of Cops Killing Man on ‘LIVE PD’ Over Bright Headlights
Austin, TX — Javier Ambler, a 40-year-old postal worker, was on his way home from a friendly poker game when he allegedly made the mistake of failing to turn off his brights when passing another vehicle. This is something everyone who is reading this article has likely done at some point in their life. However, because Ambler drove past a Williamson County sheriff’s deputy, an hour later, he’d be dead.
Ambler was killed last year and investigators with the Williamson County sheriff’s department investigated themselves and determined that the deputies did not violate the agency’s pursuit or use-of-force policies. This was in spite of the fact that Ambler’s death was ruled a homicide.
Now, we may have some insight into why all the officers were cleared. A Williamson County grand jury has indicted Sheriff Robert Chody for felony evidence tampering in Ambler’s death. According to court documents, Chody is accused of destroying video recordings and audio recordings in the investigation into Ambler’s death “with the intent to impair their availability as evidence in the investigation, “KVUE reports.
Chody was booked into the Williamson County jail on Monday and released shortly after on a $10,000 bail. Adding to the conspiratorial nature of the case is the fact that Jason Nassour, the attorney for Williamson County, was also booked on the same charge for allegedly tampering with the same evidence.
As TFTP reported earlier this year, Live PD reportedly destroyed all footage of Ambler’s death at the hands of police. The indictments stem from an independent investigation launched by media with the KVUE Defenders and the Austin American-Statesman jointly after they both confirmed in June that the footage was destroyed.
Jeff Edwards of the Edwards Law Group, who is representing the Ambler family, released the following statement Monday evening in regards to the charges:
“Today, we learned that a reason for the slow pace of justice in this case is that Sheriff Chody allegedly acted to destroy video evidence of Mr. Ambler’s death. It seems the sheriff was more interested in being part of a reality television program and providing entertaining video content than protecting the lives of the Black citizens he was sworn to protect. If true, such shameful behavior by a law enforcement leader is striking evidence that there needs to be a sweeping, systemic overhaul of our system of policing.”

'This is an issue': Some Virginia voters received duplicate ballots in mail, but officials say all is well
Officials say there are safeguards in place to prevent voter fraud
Just weeks before Election Day, at least 1,400 Virginia voters who had requested absentee ballots received duplicates in the mail.
According to the Washington Post, at least 1,000 registered voters in Fairfax County received multiple absentee ballots, while voters in Henrico County and the city of Richmond also received duplicate absentee ballots.
Maurisa Potts told WRC-TV that she was shocked to find four ballots in her mailbox recently, two for her and two for her husband.
"When I got the mail, we got four ballots — two for me, addressed to me, and two addressed to my husband, so for someone who is a first timer doing mail-in I was confused," she said. "With this year, with people are concerned about election fraud and being fair and counting ballots, this is an issue."
Jean Brennan, a voter in Leesburg, told WTTG-TV that she received one ballot in the mail and her husband received two.
"This is what [Trump's] concerned about and I am too and I wanted to bring it to your attention," Brennan told the news station.
Despite the alarming development, officials said there is no reason for concern. Officials in both counties blamed the error on printing issues and record demand for absentee ballots.

Each ballot cast by a Virginia voter is recorded into a state verification system, election officials said. If someone were to try to vote more than once with the same identity, the system would reject the extra ballot as invalid.

With concerns over the spread of coronavirus, this year's election will place a greater emphasis on absentee and mail-in ballots than ever before. Republicans claim the process is ripe for voter fraud, while Democrats say mail-in voting is safe for conducting a national election.
But there have been numerous problems with mail ballots thus far.
For example, as many as 140,000 mismatched ballots were mailed in New York. As TheBlaze reported, voters received ballots containing the wrong name, wrong address — or someone else's ballot altogether.
Meanwhile, over 20% of the mail-in ballots cast during New York City's presidential primary in June were disqualified.
In Georgia, state Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger confirmed in August that 1,000 people voted twice during Georgia's primary, casting absentee ballots and voting in person. Although the apparent voter fraud did not change the outcome of any elections there, Raffensperger suggested it proved mail-in voting is not suitable for conducting a fair and safe election.

Emir Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, the 91-year-old ruler of Kuwait, died Tuesday in a US hospital, according to media reports
Born in 1929, the Sheikh is widely regarded as the architect of modern Kuwaiti foreign policy, and his death comes amid a major transition in the Middle East, as the UAE takes steps to normalize relations with Israel.
He served as foreign minister for nearly 40 years between 1963 and 2003, when he became prime minister of Kuwait, before becoming Emir in 2006 following the death of Sheikh Jaber al-Sabah. The longtime ruler's death is not unexpected: the country announced he had suffered an unspecfied medical "set back" in August 2019. In July, he sought treatment in a US hospital after undergoing surgery.
Many Kuwaitis were informed of his death when local television cut to Quaranic verses on Tuesday, a move that typically signifies the death of a senior member of Kuwait's ruling family.
In the past, 83-year-old Crown Prince Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Sabah, an elder statesman and the deceased emir’s half-brother, has been appointed acting ruler when the Sheikh was indisposed, as per the country’s constitutional law. Sheikh Nawaf has held high office for decades, including top positions. As ruler, his brother pushed a policy of diplomacy to solve regional problems, while also leading the 2017 boycott of Qatar by members of the GCC.

Biden Campaign Pressures Facebook to Censor Donald Trump
The Biden campaign is once again pressuring Facebook to increase its censorship against President Donald Trump, sending a three-page letter to the social network urging it to clamp down on warnings from the President and his allies about the potential for voter fraud in the coming election.
The letter cited a video featuring the President’s son, Donald Trump Jr., warning Americans that Democrats plan “to add millions of fraudulent ballots that can cancel your vote and overturn the election.”
A recent sting by Project Veritas revealed mass ballot harvesting in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which the Minneapolis police department says it is investigating. Minnesota is a crucial swing state in the coming election. A Democrat whistleblower who spoke to the New York Post also recently revealed the existence of widespread, organized voter fraud on behalf of Democrat candidates.
Nevertheless, Facebook did add a note to the video featuring Don Jr’s warning, telling its users that “voting by mail has a long history of trustworthiness in the US and the same is predicted this year.”
In a statement, Facebook spokesman Andy Stone pushed back against the Biden campaign’s demands for more censorship.
“We’ve faced criticism from Republicans for being biased against conservatives and Democrats for not taking more steps to restrict the exact same content,” said Stone in a statement to Axios. “We have rules in place to protect the integrity of the election and free expression, and we will continue to apply them impartially.”
Although Democrats continue to argue that Facebook isn’t censoring their opponents enough, the social network has already censored the Trump campaign, taking down an ad attacking the violent Antifa movement in June, following pressure from the Democrat-aligned pressure group Media Matters.
