Antifa doxer ‘AntiFash Gordon’ slapped with federal lawsuit for getting New York Daily News employee fired

A self-professed Antifa doxer, who publishes sensitive data about political opponents online, has been accused of using university resources to conduct targeted harassment campaigns against a former New York Daily News employee.

Christian Michael Exoo, aka “@AntiFashGordon,” is a 39-year-old assistant at St. Lawrence University (SLU) library who stands accused of nefarious activity in a federal lawsuit filed in New Jersey by Daniel D’Ambly.

“Technically, I don’t just stalk fascists. I also get them fired, de-homed, kicked out of school, etc,” Exoo bragged on Twitter.

D’Ambly was fired from his job as a platemaker for the New York Daily News after he was allegedly targeted by Exoo, who he claims had the “consent and approval” of SLU to recruit students to target people online.

St. Lawrence University, New York Daily News, Twitter and others are named as co-defendants in the suit.

“Exoo is a self-described anti-fascist, notorious doxer, and leader of Antifa, who by doxing others has acquired a great deal of notoriety and infamy,” D’Ambly’s civil complaint claims, adding that his activities are known to and endorsed by university faculty, which include his mother, father and brother.

Former Ukraine President Poroshenko Contracts Coronavirus

KYIV (REUTERS) - FORMER Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko has contracted the novel coronavirus, he said in a statement on Facebook on Tuesday.

"Therefore, from today I am being treated at home. I hope for a speedy recovery and urge all Ukrainians to take care of themselves," he said.

Poroshenko, 55, became president after the 2014 Maidan protests and was in power until 2019. Former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko also contracted the virus this year and recovered

Christian crowdfunding site raises $500K for Rittenhouse legal defense

A Christian crowdfunding website raised over $520,000 to help pay the legal fees of 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse, who is accused of shooting and killing two people during protests in Kenosha, Wis.

The funds were raised on GiveSendGo, a page created after Rittenhouse allegedly shot three people who were protesting over the police shooting of Jacob Blake, the New York Post reported.

Rittenhouse has been held without bail in Lake County's juvenile detention facility since his arrest in August. Prosecutors have charged him with shooting three men with an AR-15-style rifle and first-degree intentional homicide in the death of two protesters, among other charges.

"Now, Kyle is being unfairly charged with murder … by a DA who seems determined to capitalize on the political angle of the situation," the fundraising page reads. "The situation was clearly self-defense, and Kyle and his family will undoubtedly need money to pay for the legal fees."

The website – sponsored by an Atlanta-based group called "Friends of the Rittenhouse family" – surpassed its goal of raising $500,000 Monday, garnering nearly $523,000 in donations.

US Navy ships, subs, and planes are training to meet a new kind of challenge from Russia in the Atlantic

With increasingly sophisticated Russian submarines prowling the Atlantic, the US Navy is working harder to keep track of what's happening off the US coast.

The Navy's focus on anti-submarine warfare waned during the Middle East wars, but attention is shifting, underscored by Exercise Black Widow 2020 in the North Atlantic between September 12 and 18.

The deterioration of Russia's navy in the decade after the Cold War "allowed a lot of folks to think that the homeland is a sanctuary from Russian forces," Vice Adm. Daryl L. Caudle, commander of Naval Submarine Forces, told reporters on September 16.

"But it's pretty well known now that our homeland is no longer a sanctuary, so we have to be prepared here to conduct high-end combat operations in local waters," Caudle added

Modern anti-submarine warfare requires coordination between different platforms in different domains — from satellites to submarines — and Black Widow reflected that, Caudle and other officers said at a briefing.

"We've got to maintain our positional advantage over the adversary, particularly in the Atlantic," said Vice Adm. Andrew Lewis, commander of the Navy's 2nd Fleet. "We've got incredible warfighters in the submarine community that have stayed focused on it … the rest of us are getting back into that from an all-domain perspective."

A creepy presidential debate ad shows a deepfake of Putin telling Americans they're ruining their own democracy

A new advertising campaign meant to run during the first presidential debate between Joe Biden and President Donald Trump features deepfake representations of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and Russian President Vladimir Putin delivering a message that foreign interference isn't necessary to bring down the United States' democracy.

The advertisements, which were created in partnership with creative agency Mischief @ No Fixed Address, are intended to shock viewers with a message about the fragility of American democracy. In the videos, faux-Putin and faux-Kim both say, "I don't have to do anything. You're doing it to yourselves," vaguely referencing election interference efforts undertaken by the Russian government.

They're also part of a campaign intended to help protect voter rights in the lead-up to the 2020 presidential election, with links in the YouTube posts of both videos driving viewers to take certain steps to "save the election" like volunteering to work the polls and demanding that state lawmakers respect the vote count.

Biden rejects request to inspect his ears prior to debate, Trump campaign says

The Trump campaign said Democrat Joseph R. Biden refused their request to have a third party inspect his ears for electronic devices prior to Tuesday night’s first presidential debate.

The Biden campaign, in turn, said Team Trump requested that the debate moderator not mention the number of Americans who have died from COVID-19.

The jockeying came hours before both candidates squared off for the first of their three debates.

“Joe Biden’s handlers several days ago agreed to a pre-debate inspection for electronic earpieces but today abruptly reversed themselves and declined,” said Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh.

He also said Mr. Biden’s handlers asked for “multiple breaks during the debate, which Mr. Trump doesn’t need.”

“We have rejected that request,” Mr. Murtaugh said.

Cindy McCain Joins Longtime Friend Joe Biden's Transition Team as an Adviser

Cindy McCain is taking her recent endorsement of longtime friend Joe Biden one step further, as the Biden campaign announced this week she'll be joining the candidate's transition team as an adviser.

“This transition is like no other, preparing amid the backdrop of a global health crisis and struggling economy,″ former Sen. Ted Kaufman, the transition co-chair, said in a statement on Monday, ″which makes Mrs. McCain’s experience as a business woman, philanthropist and longtime advocate for issues impacting women and children all the more valuable."

The Wall Street Journal first reported the news Monday.

The widow of late Arizona Sen. John McCain, the 2008 Republican presidential nominee, Cindy last week endorsed Biden, 77, reflecting in part on his enduring friendship with her late husband and the McCain family.

″Joe and I don't always agree on the issues, and I know he and John certainly had some passionate arguments, but he is a good and honest man,″ Cindy, 66, tweeted. ″He will lead us with dignity."

She is among a growing minority of GOP voices who have spoken out in favor of Biden ahead of the Nov. 3 election and, as the campaign highlighted, is the second Republican to join as a Biden transition adviser in preparation for his possible victory.

Joe Biden to have two Northeast Ohioans as guests during Tuesday's presidential debate in Cleveland

CLEVELAND — Former Vice President Joe Biden will have two Northeast Ohioans among his guests at tonight's presidential debate in Cleveland.

According to a release from the Biden for President campaign, a small business owner from Cleveland Heights and a service technician from Cleveland will watch the debate between Biden and President Trump inside Samson Pavilion at the Health Education Campus.

Gurnee Green is a small business owner from Cleveland Heights who was highlighted during the Democratic National Convention. He owns the Cleveland Heights fashion boutique Chemistry 11. In addition to being a small business owner, Gurnee is a certified healthcare information technologies analyst and mother of two.

James Evanoff Jr. is a service technician in Cleveland. He has eight years of seniority with United Steel Workers (USW) and works at ArcelorMittal, which was recently acquired by Cleveland Cliffs.

Biden's third guest will be Kristin Urquiza, who shared a powerful story at the Democratic National Convention about losing her father to COVID-19 in Arizona, declaring his “only pre-existing condition was trusting Donald Trump — and for that he paid with his life.” Urquiza is an environmental advocate at Mighty Earth and co-founded the awareness campaign “Marked by COVID.”

"Vice President Biden’s debate night guests represent the working families he will fight for as President, and they each highlight how Donald Trump’s failures to control the virus and save the economy have hurt hard working Americans lives and livelihoods," the campaign said in a statement.
