DS is desperate to avoid calling for elections, because Salvini and the Lega will win in a landslide.
They're frantically trying to put together a coalition of anybody and everybody in the swamp. They've already had the far-left and the far-right joined together in the previous coalition, and the fact that these groups are willing to do this should tell you a lot.
It's like "Us-against-Salvini govt." Sound familiar?
