just a PSA:
Anons prep if not alot do a few little things.
1) food. Beans boxes of spagetti and gallons of water are less than $1 each item. ( some cases $0.69 a can or gallon.
2) simple shit like big round candles from goodwill/thrift store %.099
If you are in a cold area, blamkets, spare coats, gloves and even shoes = couple dollars
A kero heater and a few 5gallons of jugs of kerosine you'll be cozy.
A tiny weber grill will help you heat food and boil water. better yet make coffee!
Coms: Ham is the way to go, HamAnon put together a nice sheet with frequencys. A hand held Baoefeng can be had for $50-$90 Even a simple scanner with solar and a windup feature is handy. Pretend the net is gone. Knowing what is happening is paramount.
I've been at this for years and have a secondary location with unlimited ground/surface water and firewood, stocked with 5gallon buckets of mylar sealed food with O2 absorbers and enough guns and ammo to overthrow a small city.
BUT even if in an apt. you can do some simple and cheap things to make your life easier if the lights go out for 6 months or martial law happens.
