You can not prove that your example is not from an infiltrated group anyway. The one great weakness in a secret society is the fact that everything is layered and stovepiped. So all you have to do to take over a group and turn it to working 180 degrees in the opposite direction is to figure out who is near the top. Isolate them…blackmail or bribe them to reveal who they think of as their top leader and you isolate that person and when you get the top you then control who is promoted and allowed into a group. Everyone is trained to keep secrets so it is not hard at all to begin to do the exact opposite of what the group was founded to do.
