Not what they said in the bible. "Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who are you?" and commenced to beating all of the sons of, can't recall his name.

Having authority over demons is a perk of being an adopted son of God.

Nothing about you inspires fear in them, on your own. The least of them could slaughter humanity in a day, if left to its own devices and a running start.

Yeah, Sceva. That's it.

The Jews thought they were casting out demons by getting the demon's name from it, and then casting it out in the demon's name.

Those idiots tried to cast out the demon by calling it Yeshoshua/Yeshua/Jesus, which clearly was ineffective.

To the other Anon, demons frequently collaborate with "priests" to leave a person, granting the "priest" apparent authority over demons.

And then the poor soul has 7 demons return when he is not saved/redeemed/filled with the Holy Spirit after his house is clean, and ends up worse than he started.
