Take a 2 qt heavy cast aluminum pot with lid, put on stove, turn it up all the way and let it heat 2 min. Take off the lid, pour in enough olive oil to cover the bottom, put lid back on for 5 sec. Take off lid, pour enough popcorn to cover the bottom in a single layer, lid back on, turn heat down 1/4. Let pop till it stops.
Pour into a bowl with a lid, shake salt and chili powder on it, pour 1/2 stick melted butter over it, put lid on and shake it around.
Remove lid and eat.
