I have done this, during the Ron Paul election year. The bd of elections told me I was not allowed to bring a camera, or my cell phone.

That night I understood why.

It was after the poll closed. They have to stick a key in the touch screen machine to get the tally printed.

When the old guy went to lean over to do this after the machine was off (black screen) he accidently held the machine to steady himself bending over to insert key and ACCIDENTLY hit the invisible touch button on the screen.

He activated a screen, with a number of buttons. One of them was to disgard election. There were a whole bunch of commands.

Surprised, he stepped away from the machine.

I had a clip board, drew up as many of the buttons on the machine as I could in the shit show this started. The head of the poll came over and shut the machine down.

Wishing I had my cell phone to photo it.

To be a poll watcher, contact the campaign.

And do not let them know if you have a camera on you. Also, if you can, be ready to stream straight up to the net if there is trouble, because they WILL probably take your phone to kill your evidence.
