Good observation, Trump kept Biden from 'looking presidential'. He kept saying Biden was going to loose the left but in fact he already lost the middle and 'they' picked Biden to be the 'voice of reason' and someone who will bring back normalcy. Without that draw, the center left will say screw it, just more craziness and not bother to vote.

Biden also said Trump did not do enough about Corona and then blamed the shutdown/Trump for ruining the economy
So was Trump right to shut it down or was he wrong?
