Independents, make up roughly 45% of the voter block, whereas GOP makes up roughly 25% and the DNC makes up roughly 25%, how on earth do you not see the importance of those voters.

re: SCOTUS nominees, the only job a POTUS has there is choosing said nominee, his politics/political opinions HAVE ZERO BEARING on cases like Roe v. Wade & etc.
Joe & Dems seem to think the politics should matter, once again showing their disrespect for Constitutional laws & desire to broaden political powers to the Judiciary.
There's a reason the 3 branches are to remain SEPARATE.
