PRESIDENT TRUMP GOT HIS ASS HANDED TO HIM TONIGHT…
AND I’M SAYING THAT AS ONE OF HIS BIGGEST FANS.
President Trump went into this debate carrying a high powered rifle (his personality) with absolutely no bullets (simple statistics).
He knew what the topics were going to be, yet he appeared unprepared. He also allowed himself to become totally frustrated and did not appear Presidential in any way. I do not believe that Sun Tzu would approve of his tactics tonight. He was in a battle and he lost this battle.
Tonight was his opportunity to present himself to 40 maybe 50 million people who were not “Trump Supporters”. I honestly do not believe that he gained a single new supporter tonight. Sad.
You can blame it on Chris Wallace…so what?! Biden might have had the questions in advance…so what?! Biden had notes he put in his jacket pocket when he was done…so what?! Someone picked up a notebook off of Biden’s podium after the debate…so what?! The reasons for failure at this point are simply excuses. Am I disappointed? YES!
Simple statistics and rapid fire bullet points would have won this debate. He used neither. As an example, COVID-19: He could have said: We knew nothing about this new novel virus from China, but while we were learning about it my administration did A,B,C,D,E,F,G. Once we learned more, and realized A,B,C,D, we are now focusing on reopening our county. We know how to minimize the risks. We need our country open to roll back the depression, suicide, domestic abuse and other unintended consequences from this pandemic. And as a final ding to Biden, he could have mentioned that unfortunately due to the lack of leadership from Biden the cupboards were bare. I could give many more examples but you get the idea.
His debate war room team should be fired!
I watched this debate with my wife and adult son and we all feel the same way. I’m just a proud American who lives in Florida and can honestly say that I could have done a better job preparing the President for this debate.
I love this man and everything he is doing for mankind. I will continue to support him. I tell my family I would gladly take a bullet for him, and they know I mean it. I mean no disrespect. I just needed to voice my feelings.
