Lots of material coming out showing that the speed of light was radically faster just after the big bang, and slowed down asymptotically to its current speed.

 

If you really want to understand how off carbon dating may be, you have to look at this. Carbon dating extrapolates on the assumption that c doesn’t change going back in time.

Carbon dating results need to be read against a logarithmic time scale to interpret results correctly.
