Been with Trump since he first announced 100%. Way I saw debate was that it just felt like 90 minutes of noise – almost like a noisy social media feed. There were some memorable points but honestly just feels like Trump was trying to cover too much. The problem is that the media and the left have lied about so much over the last year that nothing even feels important even when it’s revealed it just feels like it doesn’t matter to anyone. Trump tried calling out a lot of the lies and he was forceful but I feel like it all just gets lost because of the way the public have been conditioned. I lowered my expectations coming into the debate but came out feeling that those 90 minutes didn’t even matter to anyone. Biden held up better than I thought he would but felt that Trump had the wrong strategy with racing through a million topics. He had some opportunities to just hammer Joe such as the packing the Supreme Court or Condemning Antifa – he should have just kept asking the question to Joe and demanding an answer – Do you support this and letting his silence speak volumes.

He also didn’t focus on a couple things – surprised he didn’t bring up what he has done for the black community when they were on the subject and calling out the violence of BLM/Antifa. I was watching with my wife (who is a new Trump supporter from 6 months ago) and her basic reaction was that these are the reasons Trump was unappealing to her in the first place. I worry the problem is that while Trump is telling the truth by calling his son a cokehead who got bribes and yelling down an old man aren’t good optics for middle aged females – they don’t know the truth and don’t even accept it if it hits them in the face. My wife has me to show her the things the media won’t but that isn’t the norm.

I felt that Trump should have focused on his 4-5 strong points and then just hammer Biden to take positions – it felt like he was all over the map and nothing stuck. He did seem intentional in his manner – so I also think that Trump tonight basically was fighting against the deep state and knows he’s in position to reveal a lot of things – it felt like he was threatening them when he kept saying I have the tapes, mail in fraud, open judges, etc. He was revealing a lot of their operations and putting them on notice that he’s going to fight them all the way and it’s their choice or not if they want everything to come out. Biden has to get points for not shitting himself because that was the expectation; wire or no wire it doesn’t really matter at this point unless someone has the audio feed recorded that was going to Biden.

The line of attack of he’s lost the left not sure it really works either – the left doesn’t even care and everyone knows Biden can deny this stuff but he’s old and Kamala and the left will be able to implement this stuff. I think healthcare hurts Trump since he doesn’t have a ‘unified’ plan but one of free markets and competition. I also didn’t understand how Trump didn’t bring up all the deals he’s done and renegotiated – when Biden opened up with China couldn’t believe how Trump didn’t go after that harder.

Felt a major point that Trump lost on was when Chris Wallace straight up asked him – if all these mail in ballots of fraudulent then WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT? Trump kept changing the subject and wouldn’t say what he would do about it. I guess his answer was that it goes to the Supreme Court? It feels like Trump is handcuffed just by the mountain of bullshit he’s had to deal with and it gets lost in the noise. It feels that Trump takes action on things but there is no follow through. The Dems want him to be a dictator but he won’t do it. Maybe that’s what the debate was really about – pushing Trump’s hand so he actually takes action on the BS the Dems throw his way. Overall, I felt disappointed in the debate itself and felt that there was very little memorable about it. I guess the main subject of Hunter Biden may stick – the left is going to hype up the White Supremacy BS again. Just feels like 5 months of campaigning in 90 minutes and we did a complete circle to arrive in the same place as before.
