Did anyone notice the mirror that happened yesterday? The same words of outrage being used by two ends of the spectrum to point out a norm being breached.
It struck me that normalcy is what has been used to hypnotize the american population, with the consensus being dictated by the Media. Trump took that role away from the media last night. The 'we all agree over here and obviously are right because we can keep our cool' was blown up in front of 120 million people. No longer can the middle just say I am going with the more civilized candidate as the media has shown me. Bidden and Wallace both had the quiver of anger and being out of control in their voices. The biggest looser last night was the idea that if we just act civilized everything will be OK. It has not been OK for a long time because those who decided the norms of acting civilized have screwed with the underpinnings of what allows society to function.
It was not a death blow, but it certainly was a big spike in the coffin of MSMs ability to pick what will be normal for the country.
