__As I reported…behind the scenes McCabe and company considered Comey a “useful idiot” who “carried the bags for other directors and wanted just to be the face of the FBI”__so it may not be a surprise that he’s playing the clueless/no big deal card.

One could ask why Comey isn't expressing outrage at underlings supposedly keeping info from him, by FBI attorney doctoring evidence to get improper wiretap against Trump associate etc.
